Ultra-STMSeries
The Ultra-STM hydroisomerised base oils are ideal
for blending high performance automotive &
industrial lubricants. They have superior low
temperature fluidity coupled with low volatilityand outstanding oxidation stability.
Ultra-STM4, 6 & 8 will enhance the performance
of low viscosity engine oils, premium ATFs, low
viscosity Automotive Gear oils, premium turbine
& compressor oils.
Features of the Ultra-STM Series.
SAE 5W30 and 5W40 engine oils, meetingthe latest ACEA, API, ILSAC and OEM
specifications, can be blended using Ultra-STM
4, 6 & 8 as the sole base stocks.
SAE 10W40engine oils can have their lowtemperature fluidity and oxidation stability
enhanced by the inclusion of up to 30 % of
Ultra-STM oils.
Low temperature fluidity. When Ultra-STMoils are used in low viscosity engine oil and
driveline lubricant formulations, the Cold
Crank Simulator and Brookfield dynamicviscosities are substantially improved.
Noack Volatility: The hydroisomerisationrefinery process of the Ultra-STM base oils
ensures that superior volatility performance is
established compared with conventionally
refined oils.
Premium Industrial oils. Their excellentoxidation stability, pour points & flash points
make Ultra-STM oils ideal for formulating
premium industrial oils.
