BiographyRyo Chan is a graphic designer, new media designer,
photographer and artist from Hong Kong. In his last position, he
served as the production house graphic designer at Magazine
firm - Season and Wine-Luxe magazine in HK for 1 year. Other
than editorial, he also created different new media idea for the
magazine such as E-magazine, Iphone app.
Ryo also cultivated his own freelance business where he
currently handles branding, re-branding for various business
industries and blogs. He worked with different clients such as
City University, Thai Orchids restaurant, Studio City restaurant,
CPI company, IWC Schaffhausen, Consulate General of
Switzerland in Hong Kong. In freelancer role, Ryo successfully
designed—from concept to completion—invitations,
brochures, EDM, websites, logos, books, event design
mockups and infographics. Futhermore , Ryo also created his
own work— uSpeak, a media platform for everyone to share
and speak. He executed different marketing strategy and
developed a good relationship with clients.
Ryo is a graduate of Creative Media in City Univerity of Hong
Kong in 2010.
If design isn’t profitable, then it’s art.
Anyway, I do prefer design.

Players: 4 to 5 (The no. of color type depends on the no. of players)
Goal:1- Collect 4 same color in your hand.2- If you can collect 4, you will get 1 mark. 3- Get 4 marks will be the winner4- If the color cards have been drew, the game will be ended. Then, the player who got the high score is the winner.
Starting:1- Choose a chess to start and put it into the start point.2- Every players draw 4 color cards.3- Roll the dice and move the chess by the arrow direction.4- Follow the command in the square.5- The next player roll the dice and move.6- Collect the same type of color card as soon as possible to win the game.

Concept: You never know the emotion behind the wall.
Idea:The communication between people is base on emotions and message.Nowadays, people always transmit the message but ignored the emotions.We think that communication without emotions is unmeaning. It make people keep a distance with each other.We try to use this work to give the audience a chance of self-reflection.
Details:You will not know the emotion if you see the eyes, nose, ear and mouth independently.You just get the message. It seems you looking at a talking mouth but you can’t hear anything. If you use the keyboard for conversation only, you never know the emotion behind the wall that you are looking at.
