AGORAS RUMİLİAS – LOCATİON
Agoras Rumilias is located in Istiklal Street, which is the most famous avenue of Istanbul, visited by six million people over weekends.
AGORAS RUMİLİAS – HİSTORY Istiklal Avenue is an elegant pedestrian
street of the historic Beyoglu (Pera) district, which is approximately three kilometers long.
The avenue houses exquisite boutiques, music stores, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, theaters, libraries, cafes, pubs, nigh clubs with live music, historical patisseries, chocolateries and restaurants.
The avenue is surrounded by late Ottoman era buildings of 19th–20th centuries, which were designed with the Neo-Classical, Neo-Gothic, Beaux-Arts and Art Nouveau architecture styles.
Ragip Pasha (Sultan Abdulhamit’s chamberlain) commisioned Agoras Rumilias as his mansion from the most talented Italian and French architects of the era.
Since 1897, Agoras Rumilias witnessed lives of several aristocrats and artists over centuries.

The structure is constructed over 1500 m2 (64mx24m) of land, consists of three blocks and an atrium.

The rooftop has a 360-degree view of Istanbul and hosted one of the most famous nightclubs of Istanbul in the past. The club had 2,500 person capacity and consisted of six different restaurants that are open until 4 AM and advertised as the largest terrace of Europe.
