PROVENCE CRU CLASSE Provence is the only area outside of Bordeaux that classifies its estates (everywhere else it’s the vineyards). In 1955 the Provence Cru Classé system was established, this was well before the area was given formal appellation status (1975).
Today there are 18 Crus Classés, which represent the crème of the region. Provence rosé at its best!
Sainte MargueriteCôtes de Provence ‘Cru Classé’ 2017
$36.00
The flagship wine of the Fayard family and benchmark for all other Cru Classés. A beautiful crisp mineral driven style with good weight and texture.
BrégançonCôtes de Provence ‘La Réserve’ 2017
$37.00
An expressive nose of citrus fruits, red berries and exotic fruits, its mouth is silky and elegant. A stunning wine that redefines how good rosé can be.
RoubineCôtes de Provence ‘Cru Classé’ 2017
$36.00
This bright, sunny, salmon-coloured beauty is an elegantly crisp and well-
balanced Côtes de Provence rosé. If you ever get the chance, don’t miss an
opportunity to visit Château Roubine.
www.mvauron.co.nzMaison Vauron, 5 McColl St, Newmarket - PO Box 8471 Symonds St, Auckland 1150 / t: 09 529 0157 / f: 09 5249187
Sainte Marguerite‘Symphonie’
Côtes de Provence ‘Cru Classé’ 2017
$46.00
Arguably our best rosé this year, this extremely small production reserve cuvée
is all class. Elegance, finesse and subtle persistence, in a league of its own.
-
Tour de l’Évêque ‘Pétale de Rose’ Côtes de Provence 2017
$39.00
The most pale of onion skin colours, complex , dry and lingering. Régine Sumeire of Tour de l’Évêque is making extraordinary wines, so it’s not surprising to see this wine gracing the tables of the elite in St-Tropez, Nice and Monaco.
PROVENCE PREMIUMProvence is the world’s largest wine region specialising in dry rosé. Of 27,000 hectares of vineyard in Provence, 88% is used to produce rosé. The consumption of this blushing wine has tripled since the nineties with France being the largest
producer of rosé in the world, and Provence alone producing an impressive half of this annual quantity!
Hermitage Saint-Martin Côtes de Provence 2017
$35.00
Clear and bright, with complex notes of citrus and white flowers. The palate is ample, elegant, fruity and mineral. One of our favourites, the estate of Enzo Fayard is situated on
the most breathtakingly beautiful area on the border of the Cuers valley. Bravo Enzo!
Tour du BonBandol 2017
$44.00
On the terraced slopes surrounding the small fishing town of Bandol the Mourvèdre grape thrives. It makes big, bruising reds but also one of the worlds most sought after rosés. Don’t be fooled by the pale colour, this is a mouthfilling rosé with a bone dry, tannic finish.
PROVENCEProvence is famous for its pale, elegant, floral, bone-dry rosés - beautiful both to taste and to look at. Colours range from a barely–there tint known as onion skin through to a golden salmon. Very versatile with a wide range of foods and
equally lovely as an apéritif.
Villa AixCôteaux d’Aix-en-Provence 2017
$23.00
The second largest AOC in Provence, Côteaux d’Aix is surrounding the town of Aix-en-Provence. The limestone and clay
soils give wonderfully fresh, fruity and mineral driven rosés.
‘R’ de RoubineCôtes de Provence 2017
$22.00
Another hit from the team at Château Roubine. Very pale, as if it has just been gently kissed with colour. Subtle flavours and aromas make this dangerously drinkable.
Castel des MauresCôtes de Provence 2017
$21.50
From the slopes of the Massif des Maures north of Hyères, in the heart of Provence.
This wine is dry and fruity, lingering on your taste buds long after finishing.
You will be left wanting more.
ListelSable de Camargue 2017
$18.00
THE #1 SELLING ROSE IN FRANCE!Also from the the worlds largest
organic vineyard, the sandy soils of the Carmargue. A pretty, pale pink. Light and
dry, almost too quaffable.
MimiCôtes de Provence 2017
$28.00
A Grenache/Cinsault/Syrah blend that puts you right up there in business class.
Pretty red berry fruits with citrus and mineral notes, very refreshing.
Le ParadouCôtes de Provence 2017
$29.50
The brothers at Château Pesquié have done it again. They’ve scoured Provence for the best possible fruit and have pro-duced an absolute standout. No doubts
this will be our first rosé to sell out.
BilletteCôtes de Provence 2017
$20.00
Many unique bottle shapes come out of Provence and this one stands out. Its backed up by a wine that is pure
Provence – pale, light, mineral, crisp and dry.
ParisCôtes de Provence 2017
$22.50
Fresh summer fruits on a blue sky day, exactly what you expect from Provence. A whiff of wild strawberries and lovely
balance make this a crowd favourite.
Houchart ‘Sainte Victoire’ Côtes de Provence 2017
$24.50
The barren, rocky slopes and poor soils of the countryside between Aix and Nice
are the ideal conditions for making dry, mineral driven rosés. Subtle floral red
fruits with great texture and a fresh finish.
Roubine ‘La Vie en Rose’Côtes de Provence 2017
$27.00
Made from the Provençal grape variety Tibouren, the aromas and flavours echo the garrigue covered slopes of the hills surrounding Cru Classé Château Roubine.
www.mvauron.co.nzMaison Vauron, 5 McColl St, Newmarket - PO Box 8471 Symonds St, Auckland 1150 / t: 09 529 0157 / f: 09 5249187

finish.

This 100% cinsault rosé is classic - light, fruity and easy to drink. It is the brainchild

BORDEAUX Fazi
Corsica 2017
