3Open the download. BAT from MS-DOS. (Type downloadand press [RETURN] key.)

TOOL PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT is for adjusting the voltage supplied to the solenoid of the TOOL CARRIAGEto ensure that correct pressure would be added to the blade when cutting.This adjustment must be performed after replacement of the TOOL CARRIAGE, BED and GUIDE RAIL. It isnecessary to enter PEN PRESSURE MODE to perform this adjustment.ROLAND SPECIAL TOOL ST-002, ST-006 and ST-012 is used for this adjustment.

5Move the PEN DOWN.Pen can be moved up and down by pressing the [ORIGINSET] key.
6Pull up the TOOL CARRIAGE with the TENSION GAUGE(ST-002) and measure the tool pressure when pen tip leavesthe BED. Adjust Tool Pressure so that it will be 195 ~ 205gf with [ ], [ ] keys. 1 step = 3gf.Press [SETUP] key to save the settings.

4-7-1 CALIBRATION_[CHECK]
1Put the 0.25 mm Standard Ceramic Pen to the TOOLCARRIAGE and set A1 size paper on CM-24 and A3 size
paper on CM-12.
2 Turn on the power while pressing [ ], [ ], [TEST] keysto enter the CALIBRATION MODE.[TEST] LED will be ON when entering CALIBRATIONMODE.Press [SETUP] key.
3CM-24/12 will start drawing a figure when pressing the[TEST] key. Calibrating amount can be calculated with theformula shown in the PROCEDURE 4 by using this figure.
