Located on the banks of the Nam Song River, next to a small wooden bridge, the Riverside Boutique Resort is a luxury hotel set in a tropical garden and organized around a central swimming pool. Its thirty-four rooms and suites, as well as the restaurant and the bar, offer stunning views over the limestone mountains of Vang Vieng.

With a beautiful design by award-winning architect Sakpaseuth Phanrajsavong, the Riverside Boutique Resort is the first high-end hotel in the country that systematically celebrates the exceptional cultural and natural diversity of Laos. Prominent Lao artists and artisans have contributed their talent in order to showcase various aspects of the country’s beauty and traditions. The rooms feature original decors inspired by eight ethnic groups: the Akha, Hmong, Katu, Lanten, Lao Lum, Tai Daeng, Tai Lue and Yao.

Facilities

The Resort provides four Classic rooms, twenty-eight Deluxe rooms (approximate size: 32 square meters) and two suites (approximate size: 64 square meters) located in five two-story buildings. All rooms and suites are luxuriously designed and equipped with wooden furniture.

The Deluxe rooms and Suites benefit from a private balcony with stunning views over the Nam Song river and Vang Vieng’s limestone mountains. The four Classic rooms have a garden view.

In each room, guests will find:

These rates are for one night (single or double occupancy), exclusive of a 10% tax and 10% service charge but inclusive of breakfast.

Extra beds will be charged US$33++ per night during the high season and US$29++ during the low season.

Children under 12 years old, staying in the parents' or guardians' room and using the existing bedding or a baby cot will be able to stay at the Resort free of charge. However, their breakfasts will be chargeable if required.

Room rates at the Riverside Boutique Resort will vary during the year according to seasons and occupancy rates. Rates on its website will always reflect the Best Available Rate.

Vang Vieng Located mid-way between Luang Prabang and Vientiane, Vang Vieng is both an ideal stop-over for tourists travelling between the two cities and an attractive weekend getaway for city residents. At an altitude of about 300 meters, the temperature there is a bit cooler than in Vientiane, warm in the day to cool at night in winter (Dec-Feb). While many visitors to Laos are initially attracted by the UNESCO heritage city of Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng captures best the natural beauty of the country. With its breath-taking views of rock and limestone mountains, caves and rock outcrops overhanging the Nam Song River, it offers unique sceneries and a range of outdoor activities. It takes about five hours to reach Vang Vieng by bus or car from Luang Prabang (230 km), and about three hours from Vientiane (160 km).
