Mini-Workshop
Talk about pendants! Did you see what was hanging about our
members’ necks at the end of the Mini-Workshop on Wire Wrap-
ping? Thanks goes to Linda Boyce for volunteering to share her
expertise and knowledge.
Our next mini-workshop scheduled for Sunday, April 6, will be
on chain-making. Learn how to use the jump-ring maker, and
how to assemble a long & short chain, a paradigm chain, and a
celtic chain.

The five categories for this year are:
Oval - 30x22mm or 40x30mm
Rectangle - 25x18mm or 35x25mm
Freeform with a flat back and bezel landing (not to exceed
2sq. inch)
Finished silversmithed pendant with “Image in Stone”
cabochon (not to exceed 2 sq. inch)
Finished silversmithed ring with “Image in Stone” cabo-
chon.
Contest ends 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 21 at the Lapidary Stu-
dio. Criteria/Rules are available at the Lapidary Studio.

Meeting called to order at 7:01 pm by Anthony Young. Welcome to members and guests.

Treasurer’s Report: As of February 12, 2018 Total Revenue: $7,809.26 Total Expenses: $9,367.44 Balance: ($1,558.18) Cash on Hand: $41.75 Operating Account $16,257.57 Show Account $1,500.00 An audit was conducted by Monica Grant and Carmen Lake
on the financial records for the fiscal year 2016-2017. Two accounting errors were found and corrected. There was a deficit of $577.70.

Rock Candy Mine Trip - Fluorite
The Rock Candy Mine has agreed to open early for Rendezvous. The cost per person is $25.00. Space is limited on each trip, and the number of trips will be determined by the number of people preregistered. Maximum 30 people per day. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required for this Field Trip. To have mine open for us, we have to commit, so there is a dead line to pre-register: Registration Deadline: April 13th $25.00 per person, cheque payable to Penticton Geology and Lapidary Club .
