New Activities Director!
We would like to extend a warm
welcome to our new Activities
Director, Evanne Mihas. She
was born and raised in Warren,
Ohio. She graduated in May
2012 from John Carroll University where she re-
ceived a Bachelor of Science in Business Admini-
stration with a focus in Business Management.
She currently resides in downtown Cleveland.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time out-
doors, swimming, cooking, working out, and read-
ing. She also enjoys following Cleveland sports.
She is truly excited to join the Hilltop Village
team and looks forward to providing a variety of
activities for our residents to make each day spe-
cial and memorable! If you did not have a chance
to meet her at the Welcome Event, please feel free
to stop by and introduce yourself!

On Friday, September 7th at 9:15am we’re going to
Breakfast at the Westside
Market Café and shopping at Westside Market, the oldest operating indoor and outdoor market in
Cleveland. Lolly the Trolley
On Friday, September 21st at 11:30am we’re going for a Trolley tour around his-toric downtown Cleveland!
There is only one wheel-
chair spot on the trolley and electric chairs cannot
be accommodated. The price for the tour is $10.78 and there are only12 spots!

is no limit to the amount of guests who can
attend as long as they sign-up by the dead-

Tom Lanigan will entertain residents
beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Main Dining
Room, cookies will be served!
If it is your birthday in the month of
September you and two guests will eat for
free. Additional guests and residents not on a
meal plan are welcome to join us for the
Birthday lunch, the cost is $8.00.
September Activities
Pianist, Peter Taverns, was at Hilltop to help celebrate the August Birthday’s. Many of our
residents, old and new, were present for the event. Birthday parties and Meet and Greets are a
great way for residents to socialize and get to know one another.

The Post Office on Wheels
will make it’s next visit to

can buy stamps, mail packages
and much more. Feel free to

Born and raised in Mississippi, Hugh moved to
Cleveland in 1946. He enjoys watching football
and baseball. Hugh believes that the key to suc-
cessful aging is - exercise!
Lucy Smith, 713
Lucy was born and raised in Cleveland. Some of
her favorite activities are walking, baking, cook-
ing, and either watching or going to baseball or
football games. Lucy’s key to successful aging is
“ keeping involved and visiting with her children
and grandchildren.”
