Claudia’s week in the circus
I live in the circus with my family. It’s hard work but I love it.
I have to practice every day. I teach the birds to fly in circles.
Mum and dad are clowns. They drive a very small car. They fall over and do lots of silly things. It’s very funny and perfect for children. On Thursdays, I sometimes go out with my friends for pizza or a burger but I always finish my homework first.
The best days are Saturdays and Sundays. This is when we do the show and everyone comes to watch us. I’m always excited when I put on my purple shirt and skirt and practice my twirls.
Of course, I go to school. But my school is in the circus, our teacher is a clowns. But she isn’t a clown in the classroom, she’s my mum.
