Advanced Placement and
Transfer Credits The College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program allows students to
establish college credit from results of tests taken at the completion of any high school AP course. The table in your packet provides information about Purdue Accepted AP credit and required scores along with how the credits will apply to your CIT degree. Scores may not arrive until July.
If you have taken college courses in Indiana while in high school or at another University, you may receive direct transfer credit if the courses were taken for dual credit (high school and college). Credit Evaluation will send you a letter to determine if the credit can be used for college credit.
If you would like to earn credit at another university, you must complete the CIT Transfer Credit Approval Form.
