7. Pumps of type HT and pump units on their basis7. Pumps of type HT and pump units on their basis
7.1 Purpose7.1 Purpose
Petroleum centrifugal pumps of type T and pump units on their basis are intended for transfer of
oil, petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gasesoil, petroleum products and liquefi ed petroleum gases with density not exceeding 1200 kg/m3.
Properties of the pumped-over fl uid:
- solid suspension particles with size not more than 0,2 mm;
- weight percentage of solid suspension particles in liquid is not more than 0,2%;
- the pumped-over liquid temperature is from minus 80 up to plus 400°C;
- viscosity depends on the pump head, m3/h, shall not exceed:
120 - 2,0• 10-4 m2/s (2 m2/s)
210 - 3,0• 10-4 m2/s (3 m2/s)
300 - 4,5• 10-4 m2/s (4,5 m2/s)
560 - 6,0• 10-4 m2/s (6,0 m2/s)
The choice of material for the fl ow part of the pump depends on temperature and properties of the
pumped-over liquid.
Pumps are manufactured in versions , T and allocation categories 2, 3 and 4 as per
15150.
The pumps are intended for operation indoors and outdoors where the conditions of work assume
generation of explosive gas mixtures or vapours with air related to the explosive category of IIA, IIB
as per P51330.11 and groups T1, T2, T3 and T4 of explosion hazard in compliance with
P51330.5.
Pumps are intended for work in areas where seismic activity does not exceed 8* point on Richter
scale.
The pumps are equipped with bearings produced by SKF, or at the customer's request, FAG, Nachi.

The direction of shaft rotation of electric engines on pumps HT is left, i.e.counterclockwise.
