It is a matter of great pleasure and honour for me to write this message to be included in the brochure being published by Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, Kanpur for the benefit of the new entrants to the University. It is heartening to note that the management of this Institute has made concerted efforts to provide all necessary information and inputs to the new entrants so that they can take decisions for their higher studies.

Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology has been one of the leading institutions of UPTU registering a steady growth both in terms of qualitative and quantitative. The infrastructure built by the management of the Institute is at par with set standards of any of the top technical institutions of the country. The faculty employed in the Institute has been serving with complete determination for the growth of the youth admitted in the Institute. Besides the minimum essential facilities for practicals and technical training of the students, the management in the Institute have also initiated setting up of State Innovation Council "Tod Fod Jod Centre". This way, the students will have an opportunity to build capability of problem solving. I am hopeful that all these initiatives will help students acquire desired skills and problem solving capabilities which will ultimately help them get proper placement in the industry. I am pleased to record here that the management of the Institute has created an eco-system conducive for overall development of standards of technical education in UPTU.
