Pleatloc Media Spacing Ensuring uniform media spacing, this keeps the media from bunching. This can also lead to larger service life as the filter can maximise its dirt holding capacity. It also helps to prevent movement of the media and reduce the risk of pleat tip wear caused by vibration.

Heavy-duty liners Designed and built from coated steel giving the durability to withstand harsh environments. Heavy duty liners provide strength and durability ensuring that sealing gaskets maintain firm contact with sealing surfaces to prevent dirty air from leaking past the filter. Protects the media from damage and gives the filter rigidity and strength.

Filter End Caps Designed to protect the media and provide structural integrity. The media ends are completely encapsulated within the potting compound in each cap to ensure there are no air leaks, therefore protecting your engine.

Durable and Reliable Liquid Filtration TechnologyDonaldson lube and fuel filters are designed to keep fluids clean by capturing contaminants and abrasive particles. Unfiltered contaminant can cause damage to sensitive components like pumps, bearings and injectors. As sophistication of engine systems increase, the need for reliable filtration becomes critical.

Thread Plate Tapered thread profile reduces the chance of cross threading, making installation simpler.

Gaskets Gaskets are made from quality materials, designed to resist the aggressive actions of chemicals and contaminants found in fuel and oils. They are the optimal size to ensure a reliable fit and seal against the mounting surface providing leak free performance for the life of the filter.

Seams Fully tucked seams attach the thread plate to the housing for strength, durability and leak free performance.

Inner Seals Unlike other brands that may use non heavy-duty materials like paper, cork or spacers, Donaldson spin-on filters use moulded elastomer seals to prevent unfiltered fuel bypass. Our cartridge design filters use correctly sized O-rings to ensure a leak free seal.

Media The filter media is heat treated before assembly ensuring maximum strength and consistent performance. State of the art technology is used to provide high flow and accurate filtration performance.

Robust Construction Louvred centre tube and spiral wound construction allows more flow and greater collapse strength. The liner has no sharp edges like many lower quality brands. Sharp edges can cause damage to the media tips resulting in leaks and poor filtration performance.

Heavy Duty Coil Spring The spring ensures the media assembly is maintained in firm contact with the inner seal preventing bypass of unfiltered oil. .
