Programme Support Division
Mission Statement
To provide overall direction, guidance and administration on the allocation and management of UN-Habitat resources coordinating and developing the programme of work and
budget ensuring sound financial and administrative management providing efficient and effective programme support
services in accordance with the UN rules and regulations.
Programme Support Division
Core Functions Ensuring that UN-Habitat utilizes effective planning practices and
procedures and keeping them under constant review; Ensuring the sound financial and administrative management of
UNHabitat, Ensuring the proper servicing of funding partners and compliance
with agreements; Providing overall direction and guidance on the allocation and
management of resources within the Programme and to the Divisions and Branches through the respective PMOs;
Taking responsibility for UN-Habitat support services, keeping them under constant review and initiating changes as appropriate;
Liaising with the United Nations Office at Nairobi on the efficient delivery of administrative services to UN-Habitat.
