Woodbury Community Theatre to perform Tony-‐Award Winning Musical
”A Little Night Music” by Stephen Sondheim Tony-‐Award winning musical, “A Little Night Music” by Stephen Sondheim, will be presented by Woodbury Community Theatre, and will run from April 8-‐23. Set in 1900 Sweden, A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centered around actress Desirée Armfeldt and the men who love her: a lawyer by the name of Fredrik Egerman and the Count Carl-‐Magnus Malcom. A Little Night Music is full of hilariously witty and heartbreakingly moving moments of adoration, regret and desire, and it's harmonically-‐advanced score and masterful orchestrations contains Sondheim's popular song, the haunting "Send in the Clowns." Directed by Cyndi Sturtz, performances are Fridays and Saturdays, April 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23 at 7:00p.m., Sundays, April 10 and 17 at 3:00p.m. All performances are at the Black Box Theater in Merrill Community Arts Center at East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive, Woodbury, MN 55129.
