Prayers & Rosary for the Holy Souls
On Sunday 5th
November there will be Prayers & Rosary at Laraghbryan Cemetery at 3.00 p.m. for those who are buried there and especially for those who died during the past year. All welcome to attend.
Annual Sale of Work
Maynooth Senior Citizens Committee will hold their Annual Sale of Work on Sunday 19
th November at 3pm in
Maynooth Post Primary School. This is their main fundraising event and your support would be very much appreciated. All money raised is spent on winter fuel, transport, safety/security, morning club, social events and annual holidays for our older people.
An eight week evening course on St
Paul’s Letter to the Romans
The Parish Pastoral Council is please to inform you
that Fr Kieran O’Mahony, a well-known Augustinian
biblical scholar, will return to our Parish on Thursday
11th January for an 8-week course on St Paul’s
Letter to the Romans. The 8 sessions on consecutive Thursday
evenings will be held in our new Parish Centre from 7.30 - 9.00 p.m.

To become an Altar Server the child must have received his/her First Holy Communion. The four week training for St Mary’s Servers will begin on Saturday 11th November at 4.00 pm in St Mary’s Church. Training for Ladychapel Servers will begin on Sunday 12th November at 10.50 am in Ladychapel. This also involves a commitment from the parents/guardians - one of whom also attends the training sessions and is present in the sacristy before and after the Mass at which their child serves. The Dublin Diocesan Child Protection Policy is followed, (this is available in the Sacristy, Parish Office and on the Parish Website). It is planned that new Altar Servers will be commissioned in time for the Christmas Ceremonies.
Altar List of the Dead
Envelopes for the Altar List of the Dead are available in the Church porches. You are invited to place the names of all those of your family and friends who have died on to the Altar List of the Dead. All those whose names are entered on the Altar List of the Dead will be prayed for at all the Masses during the month of November and on every first Friday for the coming year. When you have filled it in please return it in the Sunday collection basket, the priests or to the Parish Office.
Choral Music Concert
On Tuesday 7th November at 7:30 p.m., Cór Chúil Aodha directed by Peadar Ó Riada, son of legendary Irish composer Séan Ó Riada will give a concert of choral music in the College Chapel of St Patrick's College, Maynooth. Annual Service of Remembrance
The Miscarriage Association of Ireland will hold their Annual Service of Remembrance on Sunday 12th November in St Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue (off South Circular Road) at 3.00 p.m.
