THIS EQUIPMENT

PROTECTS TUNNELS

OF HIGHWAYS IN FRANCE

This equipment is intended to limit the personnel engaged in an intervention and their movements. Indeed, this hose reel allows a pair of firefighters to establish the fire attack scene. In order to simplify the set-up, this mobile reel is equipped with a second reel, which is composed of a length of air hose equivalent to the length of the smooth interior surface hose, a striker and a guide allowing simultaneous unhindered unwinding of the two hoses. When the hydraulic and pneumatic connections are made, it is sufficient for the user to simply unroll the hoses, connect the nozzle and remove the firing pin to apply pressure. This will quickly lead to the opening of the air valve. The valve housed on the reel permits the enlargement of the fire scene if necessary. Once the intervention is completed, the winding of the two hoses is easily accomplished using the handles on the reel flanges. A simple replacement of the gas cartridge allows use of a new reel.
