Program duration:

12 weeks/sessions (HSK4 Program - Stage 1 program)

Prerequisites

To enrol, you should have gathered one of the following learning experiences:

• recognise about 400 characters, and

• have passed HSK level 3 exam, or • have studied Chinese for 150 + class hours at Perth Beijing Chinese School, or

300 + hours at other Chinese language schools or universities in Australia

The HSK4 Program aims to:

• develop your language skills at an advanced level through various class learning activities

• prepare you for HSK Level 4 language proficiency examinations.

Contents:

Lesson 1 to Lesson 5 of the《HSK标准教程 4上》textbook (subject to change)

Mr. Alex Shi (BComm) is a highly experienced language trainer and accredited HSK examiner in Perth. He has more than 9 years experience in teaching Mandarin to his clients. Mr. Shi was born in Beijing and came to Australia in 2002 where he studied Accounting and Finance at the University of NSW. Alex is the founder and head teacher of Perth Beijing Chinese School which was established in 2012. The school specialises in providing Chinese language services to Australian businesses and individuals.

The cancellation policy

The school’s cancellation policy follows the general practices of the industry and Australian

consumer protection laws.

When you can cancel a service

If you have a major problem with a service or a minor problem that can't be fixed within a reasonable time

you have the right to cancel a service contract, when it is:

• provided with an unacceptable level of care and skill

• unfit for the purpose you asked for

• not delivered within a reasonable time when there is no agreed end date.

Services you can’t cancel

You must pay for services you’ve received under a service contract that worked as expected.

You can’t cancel a service contract or get a refund if the problem was outside the control of the provider or if

you:

• changed your mind

• not able to attend classes due to change of personal circumstances

• insisted on having a service provided in a particular way, against the provider’s advice

• failed to clearly explain your needs to the provider
