PARS 3 LRHIGH PRECISION FIRE-AND-FORGET WEAPON SYSTEM WITH MULTIROLE CAPABILITY

PARS 3 LR is a precision-strike fire-and-forgetweapon system that effectively neutralises highvalue targets equipped with the latestgeneration of armour protection as well asbuildings, bunkers and light armoured vehicles.

The fire-and-forget capability paired with the highly capableinfrared seeker enables the platform to leave its positionimmediately after launch. With that, both crew and platform areonly exposed to adversarial reconnaissance and counter-fire fora minimal amount of time which significantly increases theirsurvivability. Missile precision and effectiveness is ensured overthe entire firing envelope. Its salvo launch capability enablessimultaneous engagements and therefore multiple launches ina very short period of time. The design of the warhead as shapedcharge system with an optical distance sensor ensures effectiveengagements of tanks as well as lightly armoured highly mobileand stationary targets.

The missile system has been successfully tested and qualified.The production of PARS 3 LR is managed by PARSYS GmbH, a jointventure of MBDA Deutschland GmbH (50%) and Diehl DefenceGmbH & Co KG (50%).
