STATE TIMES NEWSPOONCH: District Development Commissioner (DDC) PoonchRahul Yadav accompanied by a team of District Administrationlistened to people's issues today here at a Grievance redressalCamp held at village Fatehpur, of Tehsil Mandi. The localsincluding Panchayat members raised several developmentalissues and grievances pertaining to water and power supply,ration distribution, verification of BPL beneficiaries and renova-tion of roads. They sought blacktopping of Mandi to fatehpurroad, Serikhawaja CRF road and Fatehpur to Sathra road.

The locals also demanded introduction of Persian, Arabic andcommerce subjects in Hr. Sec School fatehpur, adequate staff inhealth and Hr. Sec. School fatehpur.

The DDC gave a patient hearing and asked the concerneddepartments to take swift action for meeting the demands."Each department should perform its duty with utmost honestyand dedication and solve the problems of people on priority," hedirected. Responding to the specific demands of the people, theDeputy Commissioner assured that all their grievances will beaddressed and genuine demands will be met in shortest possibletime.
