We are recognized as an industry leader in fueling systems design. the fueling systems engineering team is composed of engineers and specialists with a depth of experience in above and underground fuel systems, secondary containment systems, monitoring systems, Hazardous Materials Management plans (HMMp), spill prevention control and countermeasure plans (spcc) ,and air pollution control district requirements.

our projects include prototypical tank installation drawings and standards, above and underground tank installation design, and piping and fuel system upgrades, including thousands of EVr upgrades. stantec has designed, permitted, and provided construction observation services for hundreds of retail service stations, fuel tank engineering projects for fleet operations centers and switching facilities, consolidated rental car facilities, standby generator sites, and bulk facilities.

stantec’s range of services includes site surveys, permit drawings, planning approvals, preparing construction documents and specifications, assistance in bidding, pre-construction meetings, coordination with client managers, intermediate site visits, construction administration, and fuel system testing.

the design of fueling systems poses its own set of challenges including zoning concerns, environmental compliance, and equipment constraints. stantec’s ability to deal effectively with these challenges is the result of many years of experience and the successful completion of project after project.

EVr / isD programcurrently, stantec is providing services for shell’s EVr phase ii program for 200 sites throughout california. We provide underground storage tank expertise, design, and permitting services.

More than 1,000 diverse projects throughout california and the pacific northwest over the last 25 years. We have provided services over the years in all areas of facilities design including underground storage tanks, lines, dispensers and fuel monitoring systems, architectural design of canopies, food marts, and car washes. stantec actively participates in all phases of architectural and engineering project development including preliminary research, all phases of permitting, development of construction drawings, and specifications. stantec also provides assistance in bidding and construction administration services.

EVr / isD programstantec is managing the EVr / isD program in california, providing underground storage tank petroleum systems expertise, design, and permitting.

Design of prototypical service station facilities for use on nationwide development program.stantec has worked with chevron since 1983, completing thousands of diverse projects. We provided architectural and engineering services on the design of prototypical foodmart, quick lube, and carwash facilities for implementation nationwide. in addition, stantec designed development drawings, specifications, and installation standards for chevron’s complete underground storage tank program. We are also standardizing chevron’s aviation fuel standards for international implementation.

re-image programconocophillips has been a loyal client for many years. We recently completed over 300 re-image projects in northern and southern california.

project included underground fuel tanks, associated piping, dispensers, canopy, storm water treatment, and associated site improvements.

stantec’s scope of services included assisting the owner in evaluation of the existing site, city planning approvals, site survey, grading and drainage plans and all associated fuel system drawings, obtaining all required permits, and assisting the client with bid and construction phases.

stantec has completed more than 80 projects for redwood oil over the last ten years.

Design included emergency stand-by power to the fueling facility.

stantec has been the primary design consultant for at&t’s fuel tank design program.

since 1992, stantec has prepared the corporate real Estate Fuel tank standards for all central office and Foc facilities. We developed standard drawings of underground storage tank continuous monitoring systems for california and updated and maintained standard drawings for fueling systems for both above ground and underground tanks.

over the past 12 years, we have completed more than 300 fuel system design projects. comprehensive services include site evaluation,

design, permitting, bid coordination, and construction observation services.

stantec actively advises at&t on code and equipment changes and updates the standards as codes change and new equipment becomes available. We also conduct engineering drawing reviews to ensure conformance to at&t standards.

since 1997, stantec has prepared Hazardous Materials inventories for approximately 1,000 at&t facilities in california and nevada, maintaining these on an annual basis. We also provide Hazardous Materials inventory reporting for at&t communications in 13 states. in addition, we maintain underground storage tank monitoring and response plans, and above ground tank spcc plans.
