History of YouthForce

2000@ the IAC 2000 (Durban) only 50 young people

participated in the conference. In response, various organization formed the first

YouthForce.

Goal: to increase youth participation for AIDS 2002

2002- “Where are the Youth?”

At AIDS 2002 in Barcelona, the YouthForce coordinated young people from all regions of

the world.

Mark of Success:At the closing ceremony, Bill Clinton highlighted this campaign as the type of advocacy that could

bring real change.

2004- YouthForce worked with local Thai youth

and conference organizers to ensure youth programming was integrated into

the main conference.Conference Highlight:
