extended date for submission of proposals against the 9(nine) nos. of Research Projects/Evaluation
Studies by the interested Scholars/Researchers/NGOs having adequate knowledge and experiences
to take up the time bound Research & Evaluation work.
Interested Scholars/Researchers/NGOs may submit hard copy of their proposals within is'' October,
2018 up to 3.00 pm.

Proposals are invited from interested Scholars/Researchers/NGOs having adequate
knowledge and experiences to take up the following time bound Research Projects/Evaluation
Studies.
1. Medicinal Plants & Herbs: Study on its uses amongst the Tribal Community of Tripuraincluding documentation.
2. Tribal Land in Question-Tripura.
3. Mapping with respect to Chaimal, Khasia, Lepcha, Bhutia & Uchai tribes in Tripura -
focusing their habitats, Resource, Resource based livelihood pattern, issues of land
alienation & displacement, health, education and housing status etc..
4. Tribal Entrepreneurship-Problem & Challenges.
5. Shifting Cultivation and its Impact on Livelihood and health of the Tribes of Tripura.
6. Drug addiction and its co-relates: A study on Tribal adolescents of Tripura.7. Horti & Agri Plantation under TSP-Tripura:- Implemented by T.W. Deptt. and other Deptt.

Terms and Conditions:-
1. Research Proposal should contain, detail work plan and breakup of expenditure, full profile of the applicant/Organization along with experience
to the related works.
2. Proposal should be submitted based on the above mentioned budget and should come through proper channel in case of Govt. Employees,
Autonomous or semi Govt. Employees and preferably from the Humanities and Social Sciences back ground.
3. Proposal will be scrutinized and selected by an expert Committee under Tribal Research and Cultural Institute.- .4. A midterm report required to be presented after 3 months of issuing entrustment order.
5. The Midterm report and the final report will be scrutinized by the Expert Committee and the concerned Scholars/NGOs are liable to make
necessary corrections or
Modifications as suggested by the Scrutiny Committee. 40% of the sanctioned fund will be released as 1st Installment, 30% will be released as 2nd
Installment after satisfactory presentation of midterm report and the remaining 30% will be released after satisfactory and successful
completion of the work. In case the project is not completed successfully, then the 70% of the total fund which would be given as 1st installment
and 2nd Installment should be refunded with panel interest @ Rs.7.S% p.a from the date of release of fund from Tribal Research and Cultural
Institute.
6. All the assets acquired from the sanctioned amount will be the property of Tribal Research and Cultural Institute and should not be disposed offor encumbered or utilized for purpose other than those for which the grant would be sanctioned. The researchers/NGOs are required to send tothe Tribal Research and Cultural Institute a list of assets acquired from the grant.
7. The project should be completed within stipulated time limit as mentioned above. 3(Three) hard copies of the report along with soft copy shouldbe submitted during final submission.
8. The final report will be published by this institute. The report or part of the report cannot be utilized or published without prior permission ofTribal Research and Cultural Institute.
9. After acceptance of the report the researcher have to borne the actual conversion cost of the report from ward file to Page Maker software.10. An agreement including above terms and condition have to be executed with Tribal Research and Cultural Institute, Govt. of Tripura before
taking up of the work. .
