Milestones Achievements & Latest UpdatesThe biggest achievement of this quarter is delinking of tech and opera�on support services from CoinTribe and development and implementa�on of Kanika’s own LMS. Kanika team has worked day and night with a single mandate to make the system up and running in the shortest possible �me and deserves applaud for the exemplary team work. Due credit also goes to Dalmia SAP team to provide crucial support at every stage of development and implementa�on of LMS. We could not have imagined the system up and running without their support.In the past 3 months, we have gone through a rough weather and have faced challenges from all fronts – be it migra�on of data from CoinTribe to our system, development related issues with Birlaso� or tech tethering issues post go-live. This has impacted our ability to serve the dealers in the past 2 months but we have now almost stabilized the system and quickly coming out of the infancy stage of LMS. A snapshot of the state-wise dealer onboarding in this quarter is summarized in the chart below:
While delinking services from CoinTribe will certainly decrease our opera�onal cost and aid in improving the bo�om line, the
other important areas that s�ll need our a�en�on, includes – increase in dealer base and por�olio outstanding, recovery of
overdues from dealers in 30 days and beyond and customer service.
To increase the dealer base and por�olio outstanding, we are opening two new markets in West & South, par�cularly Kolhapur
and Belgaum. We have aligned all stakeholders and obtained the buy-in of DCBL sales/accounts team. The program has also
been well received by the dealers and we are quite hopeful of extending our presence in other parts of South and West region.
We should be able to see the results from the next quarter onwards.
News and Update
Recovery and follow-up of dues, par�cularly collec�on of delinquent OPL EMIs/recovery of LAS o/s in 30+days category is
another area where we need to focus our energies collec�vely. This will improve KIL’s profitability as also help the dealers to
maintain credibility and increase the sales volume by u�lizing the freed-up credit limits.
Customer service has been one of the important pillars of our program. However, it requires further strengthening and
alignment with sales team and dealers’ expecta�on. Team needs to work towards increasing our visibility and communica�on by
making telephonic calls, dealer counter visits, �mely resolving issues and circula�ng the feedback/findings to all stakeholders.

Dalmia Bharat Founda�on (DBF), the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Dalmia Bharat Group completed 10
years of opera�ons in the country. Since incep�on, Dalmia Bharat Founda�on has been commi�ed towards the
sustainability of the community. With a vision and mission of crea�ng opportunity for every stakeholder to reach their
poten�al and to facilitate the stakeholders hasten their social, economic and environmental progress through effec�ve
management of human and natural capital, Dalmia Bharat Founda�on has ini�ated all their projects with par�cipa�on of
Training ProgramTo make work environment safe and be�er place to work, Dalmia team had conducted emergency response team training and
fire drill at Noida office. ERTs were trained to respond to any emergency incident in super quick �me to ensure that all Man and
Machine resources are safe and secure. Training was to make them equipped to take the necessary care �ll the rescue
team/medical help arrives in case of an emergency.

Durga Pooja Celebra�on
Events at Kanika
Durga Puja is a celebra�on of the Goddess Durga and the biggest fes�val of the year in Kolkata, India. In Kolkata office
employees celebrated Durga pooja by par�cipa�ng in different ac�vi�es and flaun�ng their best of tradi�onal a�re. In Noida
office employees followed 9 auspicious colours for 9 days of Navratri.
“Durga Puja or Navratri is not only the most pious celebra�on of the Hindus, but also is the biggest fes�val of Bengal and is
celebrated widely across the country. Every single individual of the land; builds up high hopes throughout the year for its
celebra�on in their own terms. During one such Durga puja just before the celebra�on begins in Bengal with its flying colours, I
had to visit interiors of Kharagpur to meet a dealer there. As I was passing by the roads, I could easily feel the essence of the
upcoming celebra�on not only to the decorated pandals which was just a few touch away from being ready, but also from the
fragments of the nature, from the long white weed flowers who were swaying their heads joyously with the happy gale!” -

Karwa Chauth
Karwa Chauth, one of many Hindu fes�vals, is a fas�ng rituals observed by all married Hindu women who seek the longevity, prosperity and well- being of their husbands. This fes�val is very popular amongst married Hindu women in the western and northern parts of India, primarily in Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and U�ar Pradesh.In Dalmia, mehndi,gi�s ,snacks and some fun games were organized for the female employees to make their day special.

Christmas was celebrated with much joy and enthusiasm where HR has organized games and it was funfilled celebra�on.Office was beau�fully decorated with Christmas tree and crib and it was wonderful to see employees in red and white with Christmas caps on.

Winners of Crea�ve Corner are -Lights of Eternity – An experience of Ganga-Ar�, at Varanasi- Avik Bha�acharjee (Regional Manager –BD)
They say, it is God’s Home, they say it is where people find their Moksha, they say Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi bathed in
this ageless streams, and they lost their precious Mani (Jewel) that created this never ending flames of Manikarnika. The sky is
never such blue as it is today, and the beliefs that mankind has harnessed from �me immemorial has lighten up the structures
on the shore like a golden chain, that comes to life every evening for which spectators from across the seven seas flock
together upon this holy water of – The Ganges. These are the Ghats of Varanasi, where even this holy river changes its course
from south to north, merging itself with Varuna and Assi rivers.
The sailor, with his empty boat anchored to the shore was wai�ng for visitors to fill in and earn his evening trip. The path we
were supposed to cover by boat can also be reached by walking, but we missed no chance to take our place in the primi�ve
transport. As if an explorer on a voyage to find the truth behind the belief. It took the test of our pa�ence to fill the en�re boat
with travelers who are equally interested to experience the ‘Ganga Aar�’. Suddenly, while wai�ng, a small girl approached us.
She was selling small candles placed over a paper plate to flow over the holy river. Without knowing the actual purpose of this,
I gave her some twenty bucks and bought what she was offering. To the man seated beside me, she approached to sell
something that the man is supposed to throw to the river. My colleague, Amar, who actually inspired me to come today,
explained that those are food for the fishes. In Hinduism they believe, that ‘Bhagirath’ the incarna�on of Lord Vishnu, who
took ‘Matsa-avatar’ a fish-form of god to bring the river Ganges from the ‘Kailash’ to enliven this civiliza�on, geographically a
far north. place amidst Himalayas. The lamps she gave me were actually to float over the river as an offering to our forefather
who are believed to be s�ll roaming over the horizon of the river in their Soul form..

As we set in, the glance of the glory began. Age old structures created by the Kings and Queens and wealthy Pious Hindus are
s�ll making their statements clear – that they believed. The touch of modern ligh�ngs, interplay of light and darkness, and their
silhoue�e domes are evoca�ng divine bliss with a pinch of mystery. History has been maintained by caring hands of religion,
strong discipline and lots and lots of Belief handed down in tradi�ons. There are more Ghats any man can memorize them,
each one has its name. Each one has different purposes to be used for different rituals and Hindu custom. Our boat gradually
approached near to Dashashamedh Ghat, the greatest of all the Ghats available here. Although our boatman tried his boat as
proximal to the Ghat, s�ll due to too many such boats gathered at a single place it hardly able to do so. The chants of the priests
were coiling upwards with the fumes of the flames of the lamps and their incense s�cks were contribu�ng to the ambience of a
supreme holiness, and the serenity of greatest Holy River were reflec�ng those back to the faces of the thousands of devout
people crea�ng a supernatural aroura.
The prayers are made, as it is believed, the lamps invokes the power of the deity ‘Maa Ganga’ into themselves and therefore
spread the chas�ty and serenity among all the mankind. It touched us, like all other, to flow with the winds that was bending
the flames of the thousand lamps with the similar reverbera�on. It is a wonderful spectacle, must be experienced at least once
in life�me, to understand the ageless progression of �me and human civiliza�on walking together on the basis of their strong
belief system, religiousness and sanc�ty. All things are neatly weaved to create bonding among people to gather together,
either in this life or in their a�erlife, if you believe any such things exist at all. Manikarnika Ghat, the crematorium ghat of
Varanasi, s�ll fuming with flames, burning this earthly bodies and releasing the Souls in the air to be one with the supremacy.
This is never ending circle of life, like the �dal waves of the river Ganges, which brought us to see her glorifica�on, the same �de
bringing us down from where we have started.

Mental Health – How frequently we talk about it
Talking about mental health is considered a taboo by most people,
with individuals hesita�ng to talk about their or someone else's
condi�on and even discouraging each other from talking about
mental health concerns. Caring about and maintaining our mental
health is as important as our physical health. Your mental health
influences how you think, feel, and behave in daily life. It also affects
your ability to cope with stress, overcome challenges, build
rela�onships, and recover from life’s setbacks and hardships.
Mental health includes our emo�onal, psychological, and social well-being. It helps us to determine how we handle stress,
relate to others, and make choices.
One in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. Around 450
million people currently suffer from such condi�ons, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and
disability worldwide, as per WHO report.
Treatments are available, but nearly two-thirds of people with a known mental disorder never seek help from a health
professional. Without avenues for expression or conversa�on, many people suffer in silence, failing to receive the support and
tools they need to live healthy and sa�sfying lives.
How to boost your mental health
Anyone can suffer from mental or emo�onal health problems—and over a life�me most of us will. We ignore the emo�onal
messages that tell us something is wrong and try toughing it out by distrac�ng ourselves or self-medica�ng with alcohol,
drugs, or self-destruc�ve behaviours. We bo�le up our problems in the hope that others won’t no�ce. We hope that our
situa�on will eventually improve on its own.
There are prac�ces you can adopt to elevate your mood, become more resilient, and enjoy life more. But just as it requires
effort to build and maintain physical health, so it is with mental health. Sharing some effec�ve ways-
1) Make social connec�on a priority especially face to face despite your busy schedule, e.g call a friend, join different
groups, and learn new skills.
2) Exercise – Staying ac�ve is good for brain, physical work release endorphins, and powerful chemical to moodbooster.
3) Learn how to keep your stress level in check
4) Healthy diet to support mental health, eg nuts, beans, fruits, wholesome diet, low in sugar and rich in healthy fat.
5) Ge�ng enough sleep is necessity and not a luxury6) Engaging yourself in meaningful work7) Also don’t hesitate to take professional help when in need.
NEED OF THE HOUR
Lack of sensi�vity could become another major obstacle in the path to reaching out for help. Worries or fears about being
misjudged, not being listened to or apprehensions of one’s trust being betrayed, as well as feelings of shame or guilt, are typical
reac�ons, which can further be compounded by the lack of understanding and awareness amongst members of the society.
"Therefore, it is our societal responsibility to create sensi�zed awareness and educa�on, thereby encouraging more recep�vity
as well as a sensi�ve and genuine understanding of mental health related concerns.
