Parentline is a national helpline offering support, guidance and information on all aspects of being a parent. It is
somewhere for a parent to get time and space to discuss a parenting issue (big or small) without judgement, to
hear another point of view and to offload stress. All facilitators receive training in counselling and listening skills
before going on the lines and further upskilling in the topics they encounter on the lines.

Wings for Life is a not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation, with a mission to find a cure for spinal cord in-
jury. They have developed the Wings for Life World Run. On 3rd May, at the exact same time, the whole world
will be running for those who cant. They need water station stewards and road marshals. The event is a road
race that starts from Dun Laoghaire and proceeds through South County Dublin and on to Wicklow.

Guides are responsible for directly engaging with visitors through the provision of guided tours. This interaction
is of vital importance in helping visitors to engage with the content of the Cathedral. Guides receive training
from Volunteer Co-ordinator and will learn about the life and history of the Cathedral.

Enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers are needed to support ID2015s exciting programme of exhibitions and
events at Dublin Castle in the Coach House. You will be involved in a dynamic programme celebrating and pro-
moting Irish design and designers throughout 2015. Key activities would include supporting gallery invigilation,
exhibition mediation and interacting with visitors to ID2015 exhibitions and events. You will receive full training
with the curators and exhibitions team.
