• Theoretical Classes (3rd and 5th grades)
3rd grade: Clinico-neuroanatomic, neurological exam
5th grade: 2,5 weeks of education
• Neurological practice (3rd and 5th grades)
3rd grade: Introduction to neurology
5th grade: Neurological exam and patient preparation
Neurology residency training
• 4 year-residency program (formerly 5 years)
• 3 months rotations of subspeciality divisions and laboratories
• Emergency room shifts after 6 months
• Outside rotations – internal medicine (3 months), psychiatry (3 months), cardiology
(1 month), neuroradiology (1 month) and anesthesiology and reanimation (1 month)

– Neuroradiology meetings on Wednesday mornings, platform to learn and share experiences with joint collaboration of neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons where interesting cases from all neurology and neurosurgical services are presented and reviewed

Electrophysiology Division- Electromyography subdivision
• Founded in 1968
• >3000 patients/ year for electrodiagnosis
• > 500 patients in follow-up for various neuromuscular disorders
• Outpatient clinic services
• There are ongoing studies on electrophysiology of movement disorders, efficacy of botulinum toxin in pain disorders, genetics of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
