With magnificent bluestone feature walls and vaulted ceiling, the Oast House is the perfect venue for smaller wedding receptions.

The gas fire creates an atmosphere of warmth in comfortable surroundings. Located on the ground floor of the hotel, this room is also a popular choice for wedding intimate ceremonies.

Located on the first floor of the hotel, the McGavinRoom is the largest dedicated function room, and is the ideal venue for wedding receptions.

With natural lighting and a balcony featuring views of the spectacular gardens, this room is delightful both during the day and evening.

DEPOSITAll reservations for weddings must be confirmed in writing within ten days of a tentative booking. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 must be paid in advance to confirm your reservation.

ORGANISATION DETAILSAll requirements including menu options, timetable, equipment hire, room layouts and approximate numbers are required fourteen (14) days prior to your event. Final numbers must be confirmed 7 working days prior to the event. Heritage Dunedin Leisure Lodge reserves the right to charge in accordance with numbers confirmed even if less are actually served. If more numbers are catered for then additionalcharges will apply.Accommodation block bookings of 12 or more rooms must be confirmed 30 days prior to arrival. A full rooming list must be received 21 days prior at which time any non-confirmed rooms will be released.

CANCELLATIONAll cancellations should be in writing addressed to the Functions Manager.Cancellations received less than five (5) working days before the wedding will incur a charge of 50% of the room hire charge.Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the wedding date will incur a charge equivalent to one full day’s room hire.Accommodation cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to arrival. Some cancellation fees may apply.

DAMAGEFunction organisers will be held liable for any wilful damage sustained to the hotel property and grounds during any functions. We request that Bluetack be the only adhesive used on event spaces and walls.No glitter, confetti or fake rose petals to be use on the grounds & function spaces.

LIABILITYThe hotel will take all necessary care but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss to merchandise left at the hotel prior, during or after functions. We request any goods forwarded to the hotel be clearly labelled to the Events & Wedding Manager stating the conference name. The Events & Wedding Manager must be notified of their pending arrival. Personal property must be removed from the function rooms immediately following the completion of your function, unless prior arrangement has been made with the Events & Wedding Manager.

NOISE CONTROLDue to our proximity of our guest’s rooms we ask that music volume to be maintained at a “reasonable level”. The Hotel retains the right to request music levels be turned down following requests from our house guests. We ask that all music be turned off or to a very low level at 11:00pm and turned off completely at 11:30pm.

BAR FACILITIESThe hotel bar facilities are licensed until 1:00am.




PAYMENT DETAILSA non-refundable deposit is required at the time of confirming your booking. All accounts including accommodation must be settled prior to completion of your event.This may be in the form of prepaid bank deposit, cash, credit card or Eftpos payment.Please note that a 1.5% surcharge applies to all accounts paid by credit card. Cheque payments are only accepted if they are made 5 working days prior to your event or at prior arrangement with the Hotel.The credit card you supply on the credit card authorization, will be charged if either damage occurs due to your event or if payment is not paid within the time frame. You will be notified prior to your card being charged.All prices quoted include Goods and Services Tax.All prices are subject to change. Please note a 15% surcharge applies on all public holidays.
