Awareness Program
Conducted an innovation and entrepreneurship awareness program for first year years
It was conducted by Prof.Sherin Sam Jose, Assistant professor, Amal Jyothi College
of Engineering,Kanjirapally
Conducted on 2nd
October 2015 at Mechanical Seminar Hall,MCET.
The program introduced students to the new arena of Entrepreneurship which was a
wonderful experience.
Students got really inspired by the session and the result was a rush to the bootcamp.
Arduino & IOT Workshop
Conducted workshop for various branches of UG and PG of MCET.
It was a 3 day session conducted from 1st to 3
rd march 2016 at Mechanical Seminar
Hall,MCET.
The initial day focused more on arduino familiarisation
The second day focused on Internet Of Things.
The third day was for „Hands on „ which could create a confidence in student and
some applications like home automation, Room Temperature Reader, LED patterns
etc. were developed by the students
The 3 day Session was handled by Abu Mathew Thoppan, Thopps
Technologies,Kochi.
Awareness Program
Conducted awareness class for the remaining four batches of first year KTU students.
The session was took by Prof. Sherin Sam Jose,Assistant professor,Amal Jyothi
College of Engineering, Kanjirapally
He clarified that to have an innovative idea one should modify the thought process.
He insisted the students to identify the problems around and think for a solution.
He also insisted them to make the idea simple so that a common man can have the
benefit too.
He described the Nature as the biggest innovator and told the students that all the
technology that we have now is a reflection of what exists in nature.
He also showed some examples. He concluded the session by reminding the students
that “Innovation is the use of existing technology in a different way to find a solution
to the problems around you”.
Robotics Workshop Conducted 2 day workshop on 11
th and 12
th of February 2016 at Electronic Dept.
Seminar Hall,MCET
The objective of the workshop was to give awareness on basic electronics for
robotics, microcontrollerinterfacing, fundamentals of AVR microcontroller, develop
android application and to train students to make robotics projects.
The students were made to do Robotics projects such as Sound Operated Robot, Wall
follower Robot, Light searching Robot, Different follower Robots and Mobile
controlled Robot.
Startup mission i3
Successfully hosted the event organized by KeralaStartup mission
It was a 3 day event conducted at Musaliar Institute of Management studies Seminar
hall on 4th
to 6th
April 2016.
Students from different colleges participated in the event.
The 3 day session was handled by Mr Rohit Radhakrishnan,Openfuel
The Startup i3 is the platform for the students to express their innovative ideas in a
group. Each group consists of 5 members.
Brain storming the ideas in a group will help the students to ascertain whether their
idea is viable or not.
The mentoring session is made inn such a way that the best idea will be taken from
the group.
Ideas of the team were pitched in front of the judges and the best idea was rewarded
with a cash money of 15K.
ART OF START
2 day workshop on Ideation and Entrepreneurship in accordance with KeralaStartup
mission conducted for the students of MCET on 28th
and 29th
July 2016 at Musaliar
Institute of Management.
The 2 day session was beautifully handled by Mr Mohit, Mr Aravind and Mr Akshay.
The students were divided into 12 groups and each team were given a real life
problem.
Team members found out interesting solutions for the given problems.
Team members converted their ideas to meaningful product and they themselves
designed logo for their product.
Team members pitched their product in front of Judges and the best team was
rewarded with exiting prizes.
Entrepreneurial Seminar
Half day Entrepreneur Seminar was conducted for the students of MCET on 11
th
August 2016 at MCET seminar hall
The afternoon session was handled by Mr Deborshi de.
He told the real life experience of great entrepreneurs and how a good entrepreneur
should be.
He gave the students the guidance for starting and maintain a Startup
Seminar on Webpage designing & Hacking
One day seminar on webpage designing & hacking was conducted for mca students
on 13th
January 2017
The session was handled by Muhammed Shamil and Tinu Thomson of S5 CSE
The forenoon session was based on webpage designing and discussed how to make a
website without coding by making use of Server free and Dot TK.
The Afternoon session was based on Hacking and discussed simple methods to hack
email id and also explained different ways to secure our privacy from hacking.
Sparkmeet
One day workshop on Entrepreneurship was conducted for students on 26
th February
2017 in Musaliar Institute of Management.
The workshop was handled by Prof.Babusanker of St.Joseph College of Engineering
& Technology,Palai.
The program consisted of different activities and talks
The aim of the program was to bring out the basics of ideation and idea pitching
Each team came out with different ideas to tackle the problem given and the best was
awarded
Prodwire Intercollege entrepreneur-level Competition was conducted on 1
st April 2017 at Musaliar

Innovatia
Executive committee members, along with Nodal Officer, of MCK Bootcamp conducted
a One Day Entrepreneurship workshop for the students of Mount Zion College of
Engineering,Kadamanitta on 5th
April 2017.
Workshop focused on S2 and S4 B.Tech Students.
Various Activities and talks were given to cultivate Startup Culture among the students.
Other Activities
The boot camp members are gathering on holidays for free thinking and skill development in students. During this sessions, students are given freedom to plan things
on their own, idea sharing, public speaking, brain storming, inter department project
development exercises, emerging technologies discussions, motivational video presentations etc.
