AISCAP’s Journey…AISCAP is an endeavor of likeminded professionals to provide a forum that seeks to empower, enrich and support school based counseling and allied services to effectively promote child and adolescent development in an inclusive school environment.
AISCAP was launched in August 2011, with a core group of 10 members, and within a short span of 5 years the memberships has grown to over 500 members from across India and abroad.
Since its inception, the association has been working effectively with policy makers and education leaders and counselors to bring forth contemporary concerns and challenges in school wellbeing promotion. Marching forward with the vision of mobilizing sustainable change in the school counseling paradigm, AISCAP aims to facilitate the climate of effective role and responsibility of these crucial services. The emergence of the new national policy of education and the curriculum framework, shall hopefully incorporate these important elements in promoting the holistic development of children.
Changing Landscapes...
The Global Summit on Promoting Health and
Wellbeing, aims to explore the changing needs,
challenges, roles and purpose of education.
We are all multifaceted and our needs multifarious.
Therefore the traditional approach to education
needs to be reviewed and innovated in a sustainable
manner to make it more inclusive. Living in a
digital world we no longer exist within the confines
of our “little communities”. We can now reach the
world at the click of a button. The implications of
this on global culture, health, mental and social
wellbeing needs to be understood and addressed.
This summit aims to open a dialogue to bring
forth the various peripheral approaches to
education into the mainstream, thus seeding an
environment to grow and flourish within oneself
and with the world outside.
