Basic Computer Course Format 3-Title
The Computer Club of SMK Kampung Lalang had organised a basic computer
course last Saturday, 14th May 2018. The course started at 8.00 a.m. until 1.30 p.m. It
was a 5 hours course with a 30-minute break at 10.00 a.m. Introduction
Body
The 25 members of The Computer Club from Form one to Form three gathered at the
Computer Laboratory at 7.45 a.m. They were required to pay RM3.00 for the food during the
break. The course instructor invited was Encik Aminuddin Bin Shahir from MRSM Lenggong
Perak.
Encik Aminuddin decided to teach the students the Java Programming because it is a
simple programme. He taught the students how to design a programme before they had to
do a presentation. The club members were divided into groups and then they had to design
a programme in two hours. They were asked to comment during the presentation
The course taught the club members to be creative and to cooperate with each other in
group. Many of the club members also requested the Computer Club to have another course
for this programming.
We thanked all club members for their support and hopefully we will have another course
for other club members from other forms. Closure

is going to sit for SPM this year, I know the important thing I should focus on is my studies.
Schooling is always fun and I love to be at school with my friends. We not only revise our
lesson or do our homework but also trying out new games in the evening at the new mini
stadium of SMK Seri Putih.
I stay with my family in a very peaceful village called Kampong Siputeh. My village has
many beautiful clear crystal rivers so it is normal for us the kampong girls to hang out during
weekends swimming or picnicking at the waterfall. Besides, you can still be able to feel the
cool breeze in the morning or been mesmerized with the lovely song made by the birds. That
is why I am always proud to call myself a kampong girl.
Though I love where I am staying now but I always want to pursue my studies overseas.
My passion is to be a doctor. Not only to help those who in need but also to ensure that they
will able to get the best treatment in my hospital which I dream to build one day.

MARKING SCHEME FOR CONTINUOUS WRITING
(SECTION B)
1. The candidate’s response will be assessed based on impression.
2. The examiner shall read and re-read the response carefully and at the same
time underline for gross or minor errors or put in insertion marks (^)
where such errors occur.
3. The examiner should also mark for good vocabulary or expressions by
putting a merit tick at the end of such merits.
4. The examiner shall fit the candidate’s response against the most
appropriate band having most of the criteria as found in the band. The
examiner may have to refer to upper or lower bands to the band already
chosen to BEST FIT the student’s response to the most appropriate band.
The marks from the band decided on for the script also depend on the
number of criteria that are found in the script.
5. Justify the band and marks given, if necessary, by commenting on the
strengths and weaknesses of the candidate’s response, using the criteria
found in the band.
