Miss Dungan Weds Thomas Lee Kaiser
WOOLDRIDGE, September 28--Miss Doris
Dungan, daughter of Herbert Dungan of Prairie Home
became the bride of Mr. Thomas Lee Kaiser, son of
Mrs. Sybil Kaiser of Wooldridge, September 23rd at
3:30 o'clock at the Wooldridge Baptist Church.
The double ring ceremony was solemnized by the
Rev. Wayne Masters before an altar banked with
autumn flowers.
Preceding the ceremony Miss Lois Hein of
Boonville, sang, "Because" and "I Love You Truly,"
accompanied by Miss Eula Stegner of Boonville, who
also played Lohengrin wedding march and the
recessional.
The bride who was given in marriage by her
uncle, Mr. Samuel Lancaster, Columbia, wore a street
length dress of lavender blue satin with white
accessories. Her corsage was of red rose buds. The
maid of honor, Miss Diane Kaiser, sister of the groom,
wore a dress of brown satin. Her corsage was also red
rose buds.
Forest Martin acted as best man.
After the ceremony a small reception was held at
the home of Mrs. Sybil Kaiser for relatives and close
friends.
Those present besides the wedding party were:

Clarence Bullard and children, Mrs. Hattie Fitzpatrick,
Boonville; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Lancaster, Columbia;
Mrs. Effie Bruce, Mrs. Sybil Kaiser, ; Merle Kaiser,
Mrs. Donald Kaiser and daughter, Linda, Wooldridge;
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Purvis, Boonville; and Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Kaiser, Wooldridge.
The couple will reside at the present in
Wooldridge.
Swinford – Vaughn Vows Exchanged
WOOLDRIDGE — Miss Leona Mae Swinford,
daughter of Mrs. Dorothy Sisson of Joplin and Robert
J. Vaughn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. Vaughn of
Bay City, Tex., were united in marriage at seven
o'clock, Saturday evening, Oct. 10, in Blackwater.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Omar
Wetherell at the parsonage.
Mr. and Mrs. Hubert L. Bailey of Kansas City
were the attendants for the couple.
The bride has been employed in Kansas City.
Mr. Vaughn is a graduate of Boonville High School.
He recently returned from a year's service in Korea
with the Army.
The couple is residing in Bay City.
Lorine Allee Bride of Rev. Wayne Masters 1951
The First Baptist Church here was the setting on
Sunday afternoon July 15 at 2:30 o’clock for the
wedding of Miss Lorine Allee daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Ray Allee of Versailles, and Rev. Wayne Masters son
of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Masters of California
Officiating at the double ring ceremony was the
Rev. James Heisner pastor the church.
Large baskets of summer flowers, palms and
lighted candles formed the background for the
ceremony at the altar.
Miss Dorothy Jean Johnson of Jefferson City
played a prelude of piano music and accompanied
Warren Lee Wilbur of Miami, Okla. when he sang "I
Love You Truly" and "Because".
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a
dress of white nylon over taffeta. Her shoulder length
veil of nylon net edged with lace, was held in place by
a bandeau of white flowers. She wore a corsage of
red roses and carried a white Bible.
Mrs. Lucille Bechtel of Boonville, sister of the
groom, was matron of honor. She wore a dress of lilac
marquisette over taffeta with matching hat. Her
flowers were lilac carnations. Audra Blankenship and
Peggy Morris were the candle lighters. They wore
organdy dresses of pink and blue.
Lavern Masters of Sedalia, served as best man
for his brother. Ushering duties were performed by
John Schad, Versailles, Howard Bechtel, Boonville,
Rev. Donald Reed and Dorsey Bolin, California.
Immediately following the ceremony a reception
was held in the church parlors. The serving table was
covered with a white linen cloth which had also
adorned the table at the wedding of the brides great,
great, grandmother and was centered with a three-tier
wedding cake which was baked by Mrs. Ralph
Hodges of Versailles, an aunt of the bride. Assisting at
the reception were Mrs. Mary Lee Lehman, Miss
Mildred Blankenship, Miss Shirley Bolin, Miss Patty
Morris, Miss Betty Scott, Mrs. Billy Wehmier, Mrs.
Francis Zimmerman, Mrs. Don Melton, Mrs. C. B.
Karr, Mrs. Ralph Hodges and Mrs. Curtis Hilderbrand.
Mrs. Donald Reed was in charge of the guest book.
When Rev. and Mrs. Masters left on their
wedding trip Mrs. Masters was wearing a summer suit
of beige with brown and white accessories. Rev. and
Mrs. Masters will live at Syracuse where he is pastor
of the First The Baptist church.
Miss Edith Hendrix Weds Charles Renfrow
Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hendrix announce the
marriage of their daughter, Edith, to Pfc. Charles M.
Renfrow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Renfrow,
Boonville.
The double ring ceremony took place at the
Boonesboro Christian Church with the Rev. Rodger E.
Rendahl officiating. The wedding march was played
by Mrs. Bobby Twitchell.
Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Terrell, sister
and brother-in-law of the bride.
The bride wore a blue and gray suit with navy
accessories. Her corsage was of white carnations.
The maid of honor wore a gray wool jersey dress
with black accessories. She wore a corsage of white
carnations.
The mother of the bride was dressed in a gray
crepe dress with black accessories. She wore a
corsage of red roses.
The mother of the bridegroom wore a black crepe
dress with black accessories and a corsage of red
roses.
The bride is a graduate of New Franklin High
School.
The bridegroom is serving in the U. S. Marine
Corp.

Schilb-Hill Marriage Announced 1952
PRAIRIE HOME—Mrs. Ida Cole Schilb, of
Boonville, announces the marriage of her daughter,
Bonnie Lou Schilb, to Chester Hill, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Myrl Hill, of Camden Point, Mo.
The marriage took place at the home of the
groom's grandmother, at Camden Point, on June 16,
1951.
Mr. Hill who has been in the Air. Force, serving as
casualty photographer, has been released from active
duty and returned from practically a year's service in
Germany and England on Labor Day.
Mrs. Hill is a graduate nurse having finished, her
training last, summer at the Methodist Hospital in St.
Joseph. She is also a graduate of Prairie Home high
school. They are presently living in Kansas City. He
plans to resume voice study which was interrupted
when he went into the air force.
Miss Eagon Weds Sgt. R. D. Ferguson 1952
WOOLDRIDGE, April 1 - Miss Norma Jeanne
Eagon, Pueblo, Colo., and S-Sgt. Robert D. Ferguson,
formerly of Wooldridge, were united in marriage March
11 in a double-ring ceremony performed by the Rev.
Lloyd C. Nichols at the United Brethren Church in
Pueblo.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
V. Eagon, Pueblo, and the bridegroom is the son of
Mrs. O. C. Davidson, Eldon.
About 80 guests attended a reception held after
the ceremony at the church.
The bridegroom was graduated from Boonville
High School in 1948. He enlisted in the Air Force
Sept. 20, 1948, and has been stationed the past 13
months in Korea.
The newlyweds came to Missouri for a two-
weeks' trip through the Ozarks and a visit with Mr. and
Mrs. O. C. Davidson in Eldon. Sgt. Ferguson will be
stationed at Great Falls, Mont. His bride will reside
temporarily with her parents then will join him. The
bridegroom expects to receive his discharge from the
Air Force in September, after which the couple will
reside in Pueblo.
Reta Ambrose Weds W. B. Hampton, Jr. 1952
PRAIRIE HOME, Aug. 8 - Miss Reta Ambrose,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ambrose, Prairie
Home, and William Bruce Hampton, Jr., son of Mr.
and Mrs. Bruce Hampton, Jamestown, were united in
marriage at 7 p. m. Friday, Aug. 1, at the Jamestown
Methodist Church. The double-ring service was read
by the Rev. H. M. Andrews before an altar banked
with baskets of white chrysanthemums and gladioli.
The bride wore a white street-length dress of
lace-trimmed organza with white accessories and
carried a white Bible mounted with an orchid and
streamers.
The couple's only attendants were Miss Patsy
Hampton, sister of the bridegroom, who wore a navy
sheer outfit with white accessories and a corsage of
pink carnations, and Allen Cole, Prairie Home.
Immediately after the ceremony a reception was
held for close relatives at the home of the
bridegroom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William
Fullrich, in Jamestown.
For going-away the bride wore an orchid suit with
white accessories and a pink corsage.
The bride is a 1952 graduate of Prairie Home
High School. Mr. Hampton is a graduate of
Jamestown High School.
