RE-OPENING
On Monday, May 22, the
Fairfield Inn & Suites
by Marriott Near Universal Orlando Resort
hosted a
"Grand Re-Opening" to celebrate the completion of a full hotel renovation.
All double rooms were upgraded to Queen/Queen rooms, and refrigerators were added to every guest room.
Additionally, all amenities were updated, including the outdoor area, pool area, and fitness center.

Orange County Drug Free Office which provided Members with information and insight on the impact of

AUCTION
The
CFHLA-PAC Online Auction is scheduled to open
THIS WEDNESDAY, MAY 31 at 2:00PM and will close on
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7 at 2:00PM.
This auction will feature over 30 items including stay-cation packages from some of Central Florida's most prestigious Hotels and Resorts. Proceeds
from this auction will support the CFHLA-PAC's mission of financially supporting and electing "Hospitality-Friendly" candidates.

Recently,
Lockhart Elementary School recognized their Partners in Education with a
special tea service complete with fine china.
The CFHLA Allied Relations Council was among those recognized for their ongoing efforts
and donations to the students and teachers at Lockhart.
Additionally, the Council hosted a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and yesterday,
members of the ARC Board delivered donated items to Lockhart Elementary School - the Council's Adopt-A-School Partner - including
uniforms for the students and education materials,
totaling over $3,000. These funds were secured by the Allied Relations Council at the ARC
Bowling Fundraiser for the Adopt-A-School Program last July.

CHARITY CHALLENGE
For the 2nd Year CFHLA VIP Member
Belfor Property Restoration participated in the 2017
Charity Challenge XXXII on Saturday, May 20
at the
Camping World Stadium.
Their team took part in tournaments including the basketball shootout, kayak relay, obstacle course race, tubing relay, volleyball and tug-of-war.
The funds raised by Belfor during the event will benefit the
CFHLA Foundation.
The Belfor Property Restoration Team competed in the 2017 Charity Challenge XXXII

VOLCANO BAY
The newest addition to the Universal Orlando Resort
Volcano Bay water theme park held its
Grand Opening on
Thursday, May 25.
The park features 18 new attractions surrounded by a South Pacific Island atmosphere. The park also introduced it's new
"TapuTapu" wearable technology, which will hold the guest's place in the ride lines and notify them when it is their turn to ride.

PANDORA
The Walt Disney World Parks & Resorts will open their latest attraction,
Pandora - The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal kingdom
Saturday, May 27.
This new "Land", themed after the 2009 Disney film Avatar, will host 2 new rides and will immerse guests into the exotic world of Pandora featuring floating mountains, uniquely

shaped plant life and Pandorian animal life.
