ABOUT THE MICHIGAN ORACLE USERS SUMMITThe Michigan Oracle Users Summit (MOUS) is a full day consisting of seminars, hands-on sessions, speaker led sessions, vendor
booths, and networking with other Oracle professionals. This one-day event is based in Metro Detroit and provides IT professionals a
unique opportunity to network and learn about the latest Oracle innovations. Attendees will also learn about success stories from
industry experts and leaders. The MOUS event hosts over 240 attendees and 40+ sessions including hands-on labs featuring renown
experts. MOUS is a unique event providing vendors with opportunities to network with Michigan’s largest businesses and technical as
well as industry experts.

The Michigan Oracle Users Summit (MOUS) is one of the
largest annual Oracle events in Michigan. Attendance
continues to grow with over 240 attendees at the MOUS 2018
event. The MOUS event is sponsored by the Michigan Oracle
Technology Users Group (MOTUG). MOTUG has received the

HANDS ON LABS
Hands-on sessions provide attendees with an

GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION
You will find complete details for the day’s agenda on our website at this link: http://www.mous.us/agenda.html. We strongly
encourage you to stay until the close of Networking Happy Hour at 6:00 pm. Networking Happy Hour includes heavy hors
d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks. During Happy Hour we give away raffle prizes (including yours, if you choose to offer a raffle
prize), and attendees network in a relaxed manner with sponsors.
VENDOR EXHIBITION AREA
The vendor exhibitor area is located in the DiPonio Room where the Vendor Fair and Breakfast, Lunch, and Happy Hour will
also be held. Exhibitor tables will be arranged along the outside walls.
Exhibitor spaces are approximately 10’ wide X 8’ deep and include an 8 foot long draped table at the front of the space. Feel
free to bring your branded table cloth and signage to place BEHIND your table. Nothing is allowed to be placed in front of or
between booths.
Spaces are not assigned and the LOCATIONS ARE ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. You may set up your table
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. the evening prior to the event, or starting at 6:30 a.m. the day of the event. A 120V power drop is
provided, but you should bring a 3-prong 10-15 foot extension cord and a power strip as the electrical connections are not
directly behind each table. Be ready to greet attendees no later than 8:00 am on the day of the event.6

FREE SPONSOR ADD-ONSThese free add-ons are available on a first-paid, first-served basis to Sponsors. In the event that payment is received by multiple Sponsors on the
same date, the higher level Sponsor will make the first selection of that day. Such paid Sponsors may elect to provide 300 of the following items, to
be given by registration staff to attendees at the registration desk.

VENDOR BINGO, RAFFLE AND GIVEAWAYS
MOUS runs a Bingo game during the event that encourages attendees to visit every booth to collect stickers on their Bingo cards. Completed cards are
placed in a collection box and are drawn out at 5:00 pm by MOUS staff to award MOUS-provided raffle prizes. Attendee information from the cards is
shared with all Sponsors after the event.
Additionally, each Tabletop Booth Sponsor may donate one or more items to the Happy Hour Raffle. Examples that Vendor/Sponsors have raffled off in
the past and that were well received include Gift Cards, Drones, Amazon Alexas and Google Homes. Bring a container such as a basket or fishbowl and
at least 100 small forms to use as entry forms to collect desired contact info from attendees who may not have brought their business cards, and be sure
to have pens at your booth for attendees to use to fill out your forms.

NOTIFY YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN MOUS
The Michigan Oracle User Summit board members send out emails and post to Social Media to drive attendance to this event. We strongly recommend
that you do the same, to let your network know that you are attending MOUS and to help drive traffic to your booth at MOUS.
MOUS ATTENDEE CONTACT INFORMATION
A few weeks after the event, we will provide our sponsors with the contact information for attendees who elected to share their information when they
registered.
Additionally, any attendee participating in the Vendor Bingo to win raffle prizes during Networking Happy Hour automatically opts in to share their
information with our sponsors. Please keep in mind that the collection of information from the Vendor Bingo cards is done manually by our volunteers, so
please be patient.10

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Schoolcraft College will accept incoming deliveries of packages, pallets, or other materials for set-up on your behalf. All incoming
goods must be sent to the following address:

These materials will be staged at the Schoolcraft College shipping dock and delivered to VisTaTech, or can be picked up by the
Sponsor. The receiving dock is for all of Schoolcraft College so do not plan the delivery to arrive more than two days before the
event. The dock closes at 4:00 p.m. PLEASE CLEARLY LABEL YOUR SHIPMENTS WITH YOUR COMPANY NAME AND YOUR
ON-SITE CONTACT PERSON’S NAME. Please clearly mark your shipped items. Items not labelled clearly have caused issues at
past conferences.
Please complete and return the Schoolcraft College shipping and release liability waiver form to Jonathan E. Smith at
CALL YOUR DELIVERY PROVIDER (e.g. UPS, FEDEX, ETC.) FOR PICK UP OF YOUR RETURNING ITEMS. Each Sponsor is
responsible for having a return label and pick up scheduled once the conference is over.

Vendor/Sponsor Rules and Regulations
RESERVATION OF TABLETOP BOOTH SPACE: A tabletop booth will be reserved for you upon receipt of contract and payment to the Michigan Oracle User Group (MI-
OAUG).
CONTRACT FOR TABLETOP BOOTH SPACE: The application for space and the full payment of space rental together constitute a contract. Amendments and/or
exclusions to this contract are not legally binding unless amended terms are emailed to the Sponsor by the MOUS Vendor Coordinator or Treasurer and acknowledged
by return email by an authorized signatory of the Sponsor.
SPONSORSHIPS, TABLETOP BOOTH RENTAL AND PAYMENT: Rental fee for one tabletop vendor is $800. Sponsorship fees are detailed on pages 2 and 3 of this
document. Full payment is due 60 days before the event. If full payment is not received by the deadline your sponsorship may be released to another vendor.
Payment may be made by PayPal or make checks payable to MI-OAUG and mail to: Dorothy Sheets, 24925 Arden Park, Farmington Hills, MI 48336.
TABLETOP BOOTH SPECIFICATIONS AND SET-UP: Each vendor is furnished one 8-ft. draped table, two chairs, and a standard electrical outlet. Vendors should bring
a 10-15 foot extension cord and surge protector with them. Pop-up displays of 8 ft. or less in width will be allowed. No exhibitor will be permitted to display or distribute
literature, souvenirs or any promotion outside the confines of the assigned booth space in the Exhibitor Showcase without written approval from Show Management.
Exhibitors may not sublet, assign or apportion any part of the space allotted. Vendors may set up their booth on a First Come, First Served basis between the hours of
6pm-8pm the evening before the event, or after 6:30 am the day of the event.
TABLETOP BOOTH REGISTRATION: All persons working in the tabletop area must be registered as a conference participant or tabletop attendant. Vendors receive two
complimentary registrations. Additional attendees may be added at the prevailing registration rate. Persons desiring to attend one or more sessions and/or meal must
also be registered as a conference participant.

CANCELLATION OF TABLETOP BOOTH OR SPONSORSHIP: Tabletop Booths and Sponsorships may be canceled prior to the opening date of the exhibit
based on the following schedule:
90 days or more: Full refund minus processing fee ($100)
61 days to 89 days: One-half the cost will be credited
60 days or less: No refund
AUDIO DEVICES: Tabletop Booth Sponsors are prohibited from utilizing musical equipment, radios, sound motion picture equipment, public address systems,
or any noise-making machines.
GENERAL RESTRICTIONS: MOUS reserves the right, without recourse, to control or prohibit any Tabletop Booth Sponsor or part of any tabletop exhibit
which, in its opinion, is not suitable or in keeping with the character of the conference. This reservation concerns persons, things, conduct, recruiting (see item
13), printed matter, souvenirs, catalogs, etc.
ATTENDEE INFORMATION: Each Sponsor will receive a list of participants who authorize the release of their information, electronically after the conference.
The participant list, in its entirety or any part thereof, is proprietary in nature and cannot be resold or loaned to any person or persons for any reason.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY: The Vendor/Sponsor agrees to protect, save, and hold MOUS, MI-OAUG, Schoolcraft College, and all agents and employees thereof
(hereinafter collectively called indemnities) forever harmless for any damages or charges imposed for violations of any law or ordinance, whether occasioned
by the negligence of the Sponsors or those holding under the Sponsors and further, Vendor/Sponsor shall at all times protect, indemnify, save, and hold
harmless the indemnities against and from any and all losses, costs, (including attorneys’ fees), damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from or out of any
accident or bodily injury or other occurrence to any person or persons, including the Vendor/Sponsor, its agents, employees, and business invitees, which
arises from or out of or by reason of said Vendor/Sponsor’s occupancy and use of all or part of the exhibition premises. The Vendor/Sponsor understands that
neither MOUS nor MI-OAUG nor Schoolcraft College maintains insurance covering the Vendor/Sponsor’s property, and it is the sole responsibility of the
Vendor/Sponsor to obtain such insurance.13
MICHIGAN ORACLE USERS SUMMIT
FIRE PROTECTION: All display material must be flameproof and subject to inspection by the fire department in the city where the
conference is conducted. No flammable fluids or substances may be used or shown in tabletops.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS: All Vendor/Sponsors must make arrangements to ship or carry their own materials to the conference.
See the Shipping Information in the General Event Information section of this Sponsor Prospectus package.
RECRUITING POLICY: No recruiting of attendees is permitted at the conference. If a Vendor/Sponsor is found to be recruiting,
MOUS reserves the right to ask them to leave, without a refund of conference fees.
CONFLICTING EVENTS, MEETINGS AND HOSPITALITY SUITES: No Vendor/Sponsor, partner of Vendor/Sponsor, or any affiliate
thereof, shall conduct any off-site activity on the date of the event during the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm that would encourage
attendees to leave the officially scheduled event activities. Vendor/Sponsors must inform the MOUS Vendor Coordinator and
Treasurer of any hospitality suites, functions, classes, seminars or exhibits being held on the date of the Michigan Oracle User
Summit at venues other than the exhibition floor, and must receive express written consent from the MOUS Vendor Coordinator and
Treasurer for said activities prior to the event. Companies who wish to host, co-host or recommend attendance at hospitality suites,
“after parties” or other events must apply in writing to the MOUS Vendor Coordinator and Treasurer for permission, and must agree
that the suites/parties/events not be open during the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. If such an event is held without approval, the
MOUS Board reserves the right to immediately eject Vendor/Sponsor without a refund and to exclude the Vendor/Sponsor from
future events.14
