The fibre optic laser cutting technology enables to process materials such as Brass, Copper and Aluminium ensuring high performance and making it cost-effective and profitable for the customer to design using such materials. Before the laser only was the Water jet technology, which is still to be considered a good solution in terms of quality, but it is too slow and expensive for processing sheets with low thickness and medium to high number of pieces.

Brass Copper Aluminium Stainless Steel Innovation in laser cutting, CMM, as always, is among the leaders in the industry.
CMM continues to innovate its services with new laser cutting technologies entering the field of Non-ferrous materials and special Alloys. It was so decided to use a fibre optic laser system to cut sheets made of Brass, Copper, Aluminium and Stainless Steel with very high quality. Until now, with conventional laser systems it was impossible to cut these materials at
acceptable prices and obtaining high quality levels. This newly acquired technical solution allows CMM to strengthen its international leadership,
confirming it even more as a point of reference in the
custom laser cutting field. Today it is possible to
satisfy the specific requirements of customers who operate in sectors very different from each other. The
main customers of CMM operate in the
following sectors:
Curtain wallElectronic componentsSpin-formingVentilationFurniture and DesignCopper and aluminium radiators
sheet metal parts cut by laser on materials such as Aluminium, Brass, Copper and Stainless Steel.

Not just laser ...In addition to laser cutting non-ferrous and alloy sheets,
CMM performs folding, punching and assembly of
materials such as stainless steel and carbon steel. To
improve the surface finish of the pieces cut with the laser,
CMM has also installed a polishing machine able to
eliminate any burrs or machining residues.
