ABSTRACTS
Medicity is a hospital website which is the essential part of our lives, providing best
medical facilities to people suffering from various ailments, which be due to change in
climatic condition, increased work-load emotional stress.
It is necessary for the hospital to keeping track of its day to day activities & records of its
patients, doctors, nurses and other staff that keep the hospital running smoothly &
successfully. Thus keeping the working of manual system as the basic our project.
INTRODUCTION
• We have developed an automated version of the manual system, named is “medicity”.
• The main aim of the our project is to provide a paper-less hospital up to 90%.
• It also aims at providing low-cost reliable automation of the existing system.
• Our project medicity include registration of patients & Doctors storing details into the
system.
• That project medicity provides the facility to give a unique “ID” for every patients and
Doctors.
• The system also provides excellent security of data at every level of user.

Existing system
Hospital Currently use a manual system for the management and maintenance of critical information. The
current system requires numerous paper form, with data stores spread throughout the hospital management
infrastructure. Often information (on forms) is incomplete, or does not follow management standards. Forms are
often lost in transit between department requiring a comprehensive auditing process to ensure that no vital
information is lost. Multiple copies of the same information exist in the hospital and may lead to inconsistencies
in data in various data stores.
Problems Arising in Existing System
• In existing system large number of Hospital are paper based. But keeping track of the activities and their records on paper is very cumbersome and error prone. It also not economically & technically feasible to maintain these records on paper.
• Lack of immediate retrievals
• Lack of Immediate Information storage
• Very difficult Update information
• Delete old information
• Data redundancy
Proposed System
In our proposed system, we are going to provide solutions to all the above mentioned problems
by automating the whole hospital system
The our project medicity is designed for any Hospital to replace their existing manual, paper
based system. The new system is to control the following information; patient information,
room availability, health record, doctors availability and appointment schedules, staff.

Scope
• The proposed Website product is the “Medicity”. The system will be used in any hospital, Clinic, Dispensaryor pathology, Labs to get the information from the patients and storing that data for future uses.
• The current system in used is a paper-based system. It is too slow and can not provide updated lists of patientswithin a reasonable timeframe. The intentions of the system are to reduce over-time pay and increase thenumber of patients that can be treated accurately.
Conclusion
• Main aim of our project remove the paper-based hospital system and improve the manual system.
• Our project “medicity” provide the better facilities of all patients and doctors and also hospital Admin andstaff. That project “Medicity” give the facility of consult to the Doctor.
• Our project medicity include registration of patients & Doctors storing details into the system. And thisproject stored your information and review the your information after long time.
