Step1: Remove wipers and plastic covers. Drill out the rivets.

Step3: Drill out the rivets.

Step5: Remove plastic cover.

Step2: Remove stock ECU connectors and gently pull out the ECU.

Step6: Install MAP-sensor hose to intake manifold and route it to the MaxxECU and install it. Put back plastic cover.

Step9: Gently bend the ECU plate to make room for the MaxxECU unit.

Step8: Install E-Throttle connector (5) to the E-Throttle module.Use adhesive tape or velcro to install the E-Throttle module up-side down with connectors downwards, to prevent water to get into the module.

NOTE: E-Throttle module is not waterproofed, make sure NO water can enter your MaxxECU products.

Step7: If your vehicle (se table in page one) do have a stock LSU sensor already mounted, MaxxECU uses it directly.

If no factory wideband sensor is mounted, please install a new (in-cluded) Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor in your exhaust system and route the cables to the MaxxECU 16-pin connector using the included lambda cable. See Plugin general manual for wiring information!

Step10: Install MaxxECU CMC connector, MAP-sensor hose and USB cable before sliding in the MaxxECU into position. Use adhe-sive tape or velcro for mounting.

NOTE: MaxxECU V1 is NOT waterproofed, make sure NO water can enter your MaxxECU unit after installation!

Step11: Connect harness adapter to vehicle harness, make sure the connectors are properly installed and secured.

Plugin TriggerUsing stock triggers on crank and cam.

NotesMaxxECU has some built in output test and diagnostics, see Diagnostics ---> Output test to test certain outputs. This will only work if fuel pump is set to ”Always active” since fuel pump relay is also powering injectors and ignition.
