A rule is an action that Microsoft Outlook automatically performs on sent or received email messages, based on conditions that you specify, such as moving all messages from a specific person into a folder other than your Inbox.

How to delete a rule
You might decide that you no longer want to use a
rule you have created. To delete a rule, do the
following:
Click the File tab.
Click Manage Rules & Alerts.
In the Rules and Alerts dialog box, click the rule
that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
