Waka Waka is a social enterprise with a Buy One Give One model,

providing solar light to people in desperate, emergency situations through

their partnership with the United Nations and the International Rescue

I was hired by Waka Waka’s to launch an online PR campaign prior to the

release of their product line in the United States. I received their rugged,

at a lower investment level, that makes it easier for more people to invest with

3. Optimizing sales funnels in your existing online platform.

Chances are you have a decent amount of traffic coming in, but you may not be

converting that traffic effectively. Consider every brand placement on the web as

an entry point into your sales funnel. Start looking at the points were

engagement drops off. Consider creating different email sequences for

people who are ultimately interested in different things. For example, if you are a

weight-loss coach you may have one sequence specifically designed for people

who want to lose weight quickly for the holidays, and another sequence for

people seeking a longer-term healthy, fit, and holistic lifestyle.

4. Hiring subject matter experts, sales and support staff.

At this point in your business, hiring subject matter experts to take your business

to the next level is a smart move. If you are moving into buying more traffic, get

the Facebook expert to do your Facebook ads, and the Google Adwords expert

to run your adwords campaign. Sign up a JV manager to help you find and enroll

qualified affiliates and negotiate partnership agreements.

While you might already have a team of offshore virtual assistants taking care of

web production, you may find yourself increasingly maxed out on the

high-level execution of your business and the delivery of the signature

experience that you offer your clients. If you are a coach, you may want to start

hiring additional sales people and auxiliary coaches. If you are an agency, you

may want to bring on some account managers.

Stop trying to figure it out on your own, without any awareness of your blind spots,

If you are in this position, you may want to work one-on-one with a private mentor

who has a proven plan for you to get to you to your goals, and can keep you laser

focused and accountable.

For example, if your goal is to serve clients through your 6 month program and

charge high-end clients $500-$1000 a month, you need to be willing to BE a

high-end client first, and work a mentor who can help you get those clients. If your

number #1 goal is to get clients, you DON’T want to work with a mentor on writing

a business plan, especially if you don’t intend to raise venture capital or get a bank

loan. Furthermore, if you don’t have any clients, you won’t be attractive to investors

or lending institutions anyway. Avoid doing anything that is “administrative” or

“organizational” that will cost you money, eat up your time but not get you clients.

In order to work with a private mentor, you will need to set aside a meaningful budget

to work with a qualified expert for an extended period of time (6 months to 1 year).

Because you are in the beginning stages of your business and profitability is critical,

investing in anything less than this time frame is most likely going to slow down your

progress and be more expensive for you in the long run.
