Residential property prices in the London Borough of Bromley

have fallen 1.7% in the 12 months to November 2018. Looking

further back, average house prices in the Borough are presently

67.1% higher than 10 years ago.

Housing Stock

At present 16.3% of the housing stock is in the Private Rented

Sector (PRS), with 69.1% owner-occupied, and 12.8% social

housing.

Rental Markets

Average monthly rents in the borough are £1,250, with rents in

London rising 0.2% in 2018

New Homes

In the 12 months to September 2018, 205 new homes were sold

in the borough, which is 28% lower than the recent annual

average. At present the average price of a new build property in

the borough is £467,856
