Reasons to Give Thanks to God• Because He is good, His mercy endures…

Ps. 118:1

• We are commanded to be thankful to God. Ps. 100:4; Col. 3:15

• Being unthankful is a sin, it’s wrong. Romans 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:2

• Because we look for heaven. Heb. 13:14-15

• Give God glory honor and thanks because he lives forever. Rev. 4:9

Reasons to Give Thanks to God

• Because it is good to give thanks to Him, and sing praises to Him. Ps. 92:1

• Give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. Ps. 97:12

• For your food before you eat. John 6:11

• For the victory over sin that we have through Jesus Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57

• For our dear Christian brethren. Eph. 1:16

Reasons to Give Thanks to God• Because God has made it possible that we

be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Col. 1:12-14

• We can have the peace of God rule in our hearts and be thankful, His word can dwell richly in us, and because we can do all things by His authority. Col. 3:15-17

• Because He has brought us salvation by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 2 Thes. 2:13

Be Thankful

• Let us submit to one another in the fear of God (Eph. 5:21), realizing that part of the righteous life is giving thanks to God in everything and that it is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thes. 5:18

• If you have never obeyed Jesus plan of salvation you should today. 2 Cor. 6:2

Let Jesus Save You!• It will give you great reason to give thanks.

• Jesus died so you can live forever. Rom. 6:23– You must hear the truth. Rom. 10:17– Believe the truth. Mark. 16:15-16– Repent of sins. Acts 3:19– Confess Jesus Christ. Acts 8:37– Be baptized into Christ to be saved.
