Laughter Yoga?What is

Laughter yoga is a progressive approach to both physical and mental health. The laughter techniques taught in this two day training are highly effective stress relievers, confidence boosters and team building tools. This fun, interesting and research-based training taught by Ellen Mercer, certifies participants as Certified Laughter Yoga Leaders, enabling them to lead Laughter Yoga groups in multiple settings: senior centers, corporate retreats, hospitals, senior community living environments, yoga studios, churches, in-service for staff, therapy and coun-seling sessions, and more. Laughter as exercise can happen anywhere with anyone. The body and brain benefit from all laughter whether it is based on humor or simulated. Some benefits of laughter include:

• Exercisingmostmusclesinthebody• Increasedoxygenintake• Increasedtoleranceforpain• Stressandtensionrelief• Improvedmood• Improvedimmunesystem
