Normally, the BLESSING was transmitted through the

spoken word, and for the Hebrews, in the spoken word was the power to

attract good or to activate evil.

Each blessing spoken to someone spells out a desire for the favor of God

to be upon that person.

Encouragement motivates people to success. Complaining does the opposite…

6 The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the

whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

Complainers speak about the way things are. People of faith speak about the way things will be!!!

Don’t let a drowning man give you swimming lessons.

Know what God says about you and speak blessing not only over others, but over yourself also.

plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future

and a hope.”

God cannot change what has come out of His lips. His word

remains firm in the heavens for He

fulfills everything He has promised to his children.

Deuteronomy 28:1-3 “Now it shall come pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to do all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall

come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.”

The blessings are conditional to our obedience to the Word.

Romans 10:8“The word is near you, in your

mouth and in your heart; that is, the word of faith we preach.”

Since the beginning of time, God has purposed in His heart

to bless His children.

So, how do we bless?

c. Ask God to bless your spouse

d. Ask God to bless your children

e. Ask God to bless your disciples

BLESSING YOUR DISCIPLES

Numbers 6:23-26 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying,

this is the way you shall bless the children of Israel, say to them: The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make

his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His

countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

John 17:15-17 “I do not pray that you should take them out of the world, but that you

should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am

not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.”

God wants to bless us with fruit, multiplication and authority.

It’s in our hands to accept the challenge of being the channel of blessing, spiritually, emotionally, physically and financially.

WE WERE CREATED TO BLESS!!!
