Immunize Until Disease is Eliminated Vaccines have reduced the
number of infections from vaccine-preventable diseases by more than
90% according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. Though only a
few cases of a given disease may be evident today, it is important
to continue to protect ourselves and others with vaccinations.
Travel can cause a greater risk of diseases becoming more prevalent
in our surrounding area. If vaccines were stopped, diseases that
are almost unknown would stage a comeback.
