I am on a handful of medications currently I fell 45ft out of a tree landed head first n killed a spot of my brainand injured my back which in return gave me seizures amongst many other preexisting conditions. I am all forthe legalization of the whole marijuana plant in PA. It helps with my depression, insomnia and anxiety butmost important if smoke just a joint or 2 a day then my seizures stop, I can honestly say I have not had 1seizure on days I smoke. It has helped me more then any pill prescribed by drs which I've been seeing mywhole even my drs say if its helping I'm not going to tell you stop but professionaly they can't tell me it's agood idea. I would like to be able to recieve medical cannibis to help my conditions Thank you

my mom had cancer and the doctors said they don't know why her cancer isn't spreading like the rest of thepatients in her ward. We can't tell the doctors that she's in RSO because it's illegal. Can u imagine a drug thathelp the human body and had basically no harm only good., and it's illegal. So killing my mom is legal I guessbecause you won't legalize the medicine that is working.

Three points. 1. Historically prohibition does not work. 2. Cannabis has saved human lives even saving thelives of children and YOU are responsible for whether this occurs in Pennsylvania while there is a clear, safe, alternative that has even been tested by other states. 3. Prohibition has ruined the lives and spread hatredthroughout the hearts of my fellow Pennsylvanians for far too long.

We should, at the very least, give citizens the right to choose a more natural &, more importantly, centralmedicine. The time is well overdue where we, as Americans, have to realize that the game that politicians, lobbyists, pharmaceutical companies, etc. are playing with our fellow citizens & ourselves is a deadly one atbest. We are not test subjects, we are not subjects period. We are people & we deserve the right to make ourown decision as to what medicine we find suitable for our various ailments. I, myself, suffer from anxiety &depression & benefit greatly from the plant. I, as many others who utilize the plant medicinally, should nothave to be cloak & dagger about what helps us strive through our daily lives!

Doctors who have studied medical marijuana recommend certain illnesses be treated through smoking. It isoften the more efficient method of entry for marijuana. By gutting the bill previously set forth to excludecombusted marijuana, politics is overstepping its boundaries between science, doctors & patients. Legalize thewhole plant to be administered the best way a doctor recommends for the patient.

End cannabis prohibition. It's the right thing to do for your constituents, for the Commonwealth, and forpatients like my father who suffer from RSD/CRPS. Prohibition was based on lies, racism, and greed, andPennsylvanians of today are better than that. So too must you be.

I'm not going to suffer from ptsd and the effects of itbecause you won't be rational and legalize it. I have never touched another drug. This medicine is great for more than just children seizures. It's such relief for chronic pain, especially fromRheumatoid arthritis which won't be covered, and nausea from cancer treatments. One shouldn't have to travelacross the state to a certified outlet for Charlotte's Web, which is hyper-strong concentrations of THC. Noteveryone needs that. But people should not have to use addicting vicodin or oxy for their pain.

Everyone should be entitled to the freedom of picking pieces of a plant to use as medicine and comfort forboth mental and physical ailments. Everyone could benefit from this plant, veterans, the sick, the terminallyill, even the average stressed out working man or woman! Suicide rates would drop, opium addictions, pills, all these methadone clinic people walking around Altoona, its sick how many prescription drugs are floatingaround more than anything and people getting messed up and in accidents and killed over PILLS!! But anatural God given plant is illegal. Whats the difference in coffee beans? Used for the caffeine? Tobbacco?Mint?! Such a shame that our great commonwealth is still living in the shadow of fear and propaganda,Anslinger is to blame!! We need to wake up! Help the people!!

Marijuana is safer than alcohol. Marijuana helps many people medically. It helps cancer patients from beingsick after chemotherapy, it helps people with chronic pain by lessening the pain, as well as helping numerousother medical issues all while being safer than a man made pharmaceutical. I would like full legalizationhowever I believe we certainly need medical legalized as it will help thousands.

Itreally amazes me that his lies and our votes, still produce politicians that lack the courage to stand up to all theB.S. in Washington. Take the financial gain out of their game and see how many of them show up on theelection ballot next time!?

i have 'incurable' autoimmune disease which would most likely be treated more safely & effectively than mycurrent treatments, potentially CURED by cannibis oil treatment. but as it stands, im stuck with expensive, dangerous pharmaceuticals which treat isolated symptoms, not very effectively, and with substantial risks, side effects, and a huge price tag. cannibis is a safer, better medication with a broader scope of treatment. endthe senseless prohibition of the best medication nature provides, for the wellbeing of pennsylvanians like me.please.

Marijuana prohibition must end. By all scientific measures, it is less dangerous then other legal drugs - and ithas significant health properties. Prohibition has destroyed many lives and careers. In addition, there issignificant tax revenue available to states that adopt a medical and recreational use of the plant.

I don't even do drugs but think they all need to be legal. People should have the right to do what they want ontheir own property. Tax dollars need to be spent on things other than the war against drugs. LEO need to bedoing more important things and people serving time for possession is pathetic. Real criminals belong there, not drug users.

The "War on Drugs" has been ineffective at preventing the use of marijuana. There are many health benefitsrelated to marijuana use. The legalization and taxation of this natural plant would generate much morerevenue than keeping it illegal and locking people up for it which in turn costs taxpayers too much money.Treat marijuana legalization the same as alcohol and use the tax money to better fund public education andPenDOT.

The prohibition of marijauna is á unjust act. Marijuana has never been linked to directly killing anyone, furthermore it's a medicine that had been proven to help people in need. The continued prohibition ofmarijuana is a injustice unless you plan to make alcohol and tobacco illegal as well. Thank you for your time.

Legalizing marijuana is honestly one of the best economic and social decisions you can make. It willsubstantially decrease the number of people with criminal charges for minor drug use (people who would bebetter off in a rehabilitation program than a jail), thus reducing the money spent on prisons and judicialproceedings. Once marijuana is legal, people will be able to legally farm it (adding a crop the state can profitfrom), and the state can tax it heavily, thus definitively increasing state revenue. Finally, as this country sawduring Prohibition, making minor drugs/alcohol illegal will not decrease the number of people using thesubstance. (Alcohol actually decreased after Prohibition was abolished.) Just some notes to ponder...

The war on cannabis is costing this state too much. Not only are we wasting countless tax dollars on the manhours wasted for law enforcement and the penal system following, but we are losing a giant positive revenueand industry. With legal cannabis, we have a massive renewable resource for paper products. Cannabis hasmany other uses too. Hempcrete is one of the strongest construction stone products known to man. Aside fromusing these resources to rebuild our infrastructure (such as our crumbling bridges), we can use its sales to fundit. Recreational cannabis legalization has created enough money in taxes to put millions into public schools inColorado. This is big considering the U.S. does not rank in the top 20 on in the developed world, as far aseducation goes. It is also fact that violent crime has dropped significantly where cannabis has been legalized.Additionally to this fact is that this reform is defunding cartels and gangs. New studies are now showing thatin states that legalized, teen use is down. Yet an even bigger area to touch, is the medical benefits. Cannabis isproven to provide help with seizures, anxiety related disorders such as PTSD, and a safer, better treatment forcancer. Prohibition has failed us and has been an economical detriment. This attack on the free market as wellas the free people needs to end now. As you see, we the people are ready to reembrace this incredible plant. The time is now to stand with us.

I have a cousin of whom has several medical illnesses thst stem from his service in Iraq and Afghanastan, ofwhom has testified along with the millions of other veterans experiencing the same problems, that cannabis isthe only cure. On another hand, I had an aunt who passed away from cancer who I believe could havebenefitted from using canabis, if not have been cured. Also, a younger cousin of mine, has epilepsy and has nocure: his parents are denied the Charlotte Web CBD Oil that could cure him. Beyond these familial resons, orthe health benefits in general, it is plainy been exemplified in other instances that cannabis can serve otherpurposes specially pertaining to hemp and oil. On another level, the monetary beneitfs, could boost theeconomy. Overall, even though I myself abstain from the use of cannabis, I believe the prohibition of cannabisshould be repealed because the benefits far outweigh the detrements.

Nobody should go to jail over cannabis. Not for growing it, selling it, having it, or using it. Prohibition wasnever the right policy, and it's time Pennsylvania learned from its mistake. Remove criminal penalties, regulate commercial cultivation and sale, tax retail sales at regular sales tax rate, and you have the start of asolid policy.

I think legalizing will help with taxes, better for the environment when we can use hemp make all sorts ifthings since it grows faster than wood and with that we won't have to cut down as much trees to build thingswith. Possibly stop all of the crime and shootings that has been going on since they might be drug related if itsmarijuana and not other drugs that can cause damage. And don't forget about how it could help in the medicalfield and all of the other studies in the medical field thats has yet to use marijuana as a cure.

I think it should be legalized. At least medical in PA. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and have heard manywonderful things this cld help relieve my pain, helps with appetite etc. I cannot think you can deny the manybenefits of this plant. Plus it could help our country get out of trillions of debt that we are now in. Pleaseconsider making this plant legal. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I'm in the process of moving out of state due to it's current state of legality. This is a chance to be a state thatis a leader, and not a follower. I'm a medical patient and have to worry about being caged for treating mydisease the best and safest way. It isn't fair, and everyone knows it at this point. Lets cut through the red tapeand decriminalize ESPECIALLY allow home growing so I can save money instead of spending it on mymedicine that keeps me healthy and productive.

Please legalize and tax the sale of cannabis in Pennsylvania. The amount of money saved on prosecuting andimprisoning people for such a silly thing as a naturally grown plant is a huge waste of money. Also the taxrevenue from said sales could go to fix our highways and bridges in the state and especially around Pittsburgh. After that put all of the money into education so that we can become an example for other states to follow.

1. The war on drugs doesn't nothing but keep rich people rich and poor people poor. It ruins communities andgets innocent people killed. 2. smoking marijuna is a victimless crime. It should be treated the same assmoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol. 3. why is cannabis still a schedule 1 drug? it has already been proventhat it is less addictive than cigarettes and alcohol and it also has proven medical benefits.
