All About Pueblo
Kyrene del Pueblo was built in 1987
We have 826 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades
We currently have 10 core teachers in 6th grade
Our sixth teachers have many years of experience working with sixth grade students and they truly LOVE nurturing the students through their transition into Middle School
There are 11 electives classes offered at Pueblo
Our administrative staff is comprised of a Principal, an Assistant Principal, Academic Behavior Specialist, a Psychologist and a Counselor.
Our feeder elementary schools are Paloma, Mirada, Manitas and Mariposa
Our school hours are 8:30-3:30 M, T, Th, F and 8:30-2:00 on W

A Day At Middle School
Teams- 6th grade students receive their core
instruction from a team of teachers who share the
same group of students.

Elective Course Selection Process
6th Grade Elective Interest Sheet for 2017-18 will be sent out by your elementary teachers in the next couple of weeks.
Families will rank order their elective choices and return completed sheets to the elementary school by April 5th.
NEW - Sometime during April, students will participate in online course selection. Students will engage in this process with the support of their teacher and the signed paper selection sheets.
Paper selection sheets will be sent to middle schools for their reference in the scheduling process.
Drop Off and Pick Up
**South Gate in front of school is the main entrance and exit gate for students. It is opened for arrival procedures at 8:30.

School Resource Officer
School Resource Officer (SRO) is a certified
law enforcement officer who is permanently
assigned to provide coverage to a school or a
set of schools.
The SRO is specifically trained to perform three
roles: law enforcement officer; law-related
counselor; and law-related education teacher.

WEB Program for 6th Graders
Where Everybody Belongs, is a middle school
orientation and program that welcomes sixth
graders and makes them feel comfortable
throughout the first year of their middle school
experience.
Students are teamed with 8th graders for
orientation activities in the summer.
