April is gone… !! MAY is half over ….!! AND CHANGES ARE BEING
MADE …. Most of you are aware that Ladybugz has been up for sale …. YES, in fact it has sold. The new owner has arrived… is getting settled and things are in transition. Come by and meet Sue and see what’s happening at Ladybugz. I have enjoyed owning Ladybugz , playing with fabric --- -- meeting the challenges of each day and most of all meeting all the quilters (and non-quilters) that have walked through the front door. I will miss that aspect on a daily basis. I will continue to have my long arm service here at Ladybugz and will work on a part time basis here at the store as well so-o-o-o I still get to play a part … YEAH! I am so fortunate!!

Create a quilt using at least 8 different 2016 rows from 8 different 2016 participating Row by Row shops and be the first to bring
it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize.
Exclusive Fabric Plates by Zebra Patterns will be available in shops around the country. Each one is unique. Collect a bunch to create fun projects, sewing studio wall art or even a fun backing for your quilt. Check out our version!

What are the exact dates of the event?
You have from June 21 through September 6, 2015 to collect the free patterns. You have until October 31, 2016 to submit a quilt for a prize.

Check the website: www.rowbyrowexperience.com. Click the state you are traveling in to see the listing of shops. A Google map and a downloadable list will be available before summer.

International-Award Winning Quilter SUZANNE MARSHALL
Will be teaching classes and exhibiting some of her gorgeous quilts Suzanne Marshall is an international-award winning quilter. Her quilts have won numerous prizes, including multiple awards for Best Hand Workmanship at the American Quilter's Society shows in Paducah and Lancaster. Her quilt “Toujour Noveau” was named as one of the Twentieth Century's 100 Best American Quilts. This quilt is in the permanent collection of the Museum of the American Quilter's Society in Paducah, Kentucky, as is her Mother’s Day. A significant honor was being selected as one of the "World’s Distinguished Quilt Artists” to exhibit three selected quilts (Dragonflowers, Leafhoppers and Konnichiwa) inTokyo, Japan in January, 2003. In 2010, one of her latest creations, Vases, received the Best Handworkmanship Award at the AQS Show in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Vases and its quilted tiling patterns are featured in Suzanne’s newest book.newest book.
