PART 3 EXECUTION
3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify that framing members are ready to receive panels.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Install panels on soffits in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
B. Protect surfaces in contact with cementitious materials and dissimilar metals with bituminous paint.Allow to dry prior to installation.
C. Fasten panels to structural supports; aligned, level, and plumb.
D. Locate joints over supports. Lap panel ends minimum 2 inches (50 mm).
E. Provide expansion joints where indicated.
F. Use concealed fasteners unless otherwise approved by Architect.
G. Seal and place gaskets to prevent weather penetration. Maintain neat appearance.
3.03 TOLERANCES
A. Maximum Offset From True Alignment Between Adjacent Members Butting or In Line: 1/16 inch (1.6mm).
B. Maximum Variation from Plane or Location Indicated on Drawings: 1/4 inch (6 mm).
3.04 CLEANING

ITEM #1. MECHANICAL DRAWING CLARIFICATION
A. The M.C. shall identify each piping system and assure cross connections between differentsystems are not allowed. This applies to connections from one side of a similar system to theother side causing a short cycle.
ITEM #2. GLYCOL CLARIFICATION
A. The hot-water heating system fluid shall be a minimum 25 percent propylene glycol for freezeprotection to 13°F.
B. The Geothermal Heat Pump system fluid shall be a minimum 25 percent propylene glycol forfreeze protection to 13°F.
C. Glycol Basis for design: Dow Chemical Dowfrost Propylene Glycol.
ITEM #3. REVERSE OSMOSIS WATER SYSTEM
A. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide a Culligan Model AC-30 Reverse Osmosis Systemwith a 25 Gallon Storage Tank. Storage Tank shall be compatible for use with ReverseOsmosis water systems.
B. The Reverse Osmosis System and Storage Tank shall be installed on a G.C. provided 4”concrete pad. Coordinate the size and location of the 4” concrete pad with the G.C.

ITEM #4. WATER SOFTENER WATER SYSTEM
A. The Mechanical Contractor shall provide a Culligan Model HCE-120-2 water softener systemwith a 24”X5” Brine Tank.
B. The Water Softener Water System with Brine Tank shall be installed on a G.C. provided 4”concrete pad. Coordinate the size and location of the 4” concrete pad with the G.C.

A. Provide 2” floor drains in all toilet rooms. Provide a 2” waste drain with p-trap from floordrains to the closest waste drain of adequate size. Provide a 1 ½” vent pipe serving the floordrain waste pipe to the closest vent pipe of adequate size. See attached drawings.
ITEM #6. CONDENSATE DRAIN PIPING
A. Tie the Main floor west side heat pump condensate drain in the tail piece of the lavatory locatedin Men 133. See attached drawings.
ITEM #7. STORM SEWER CONNECTION CLARIFICATION
A. The 6” RC piping shall be moved to the North mechanical chase. The normal RC pipe shall beran to below grade and extend 5’-0” outside of the building line. See attached drawings.

SPECIFICATION ITEM#2. Section 274133 TV Signal Cabling
A. 1.1-C Description of system: They system shall have the capability todistribution signals supplied by the local cable company ONLY.
B. Delete 2.2; 2.3; 2.6; and 2.7.
C. Part 3: Clarification: Installation shall be a home run cable from each locationback to the demark point where splitters shall be provided to distribute theserving utility’s signal.
ADDENDUM E1 CLARIFICATION: There are two separate PA systems in the building. TheConference room system and the Lobby System.
A. The conference room system shall not use the specified amplifier. Instead itshall use an Atlas Sound Model #PA1001G mounted to the projector mountingrod and taking input from the projector sound output. A secondary input toamplifier shall be the 1/8” phone jack in the cabinet (no RCA).
B. The Lobby system shall incorporate the specified amplifier located in the ITRoom. A remote source jack (1/8” phone) and a remote volume control shall bemounted on the column behind the teller line, adjacent the DMX lightingcontroller.
DRAWING ITEM #1. Include in price of electrical contract for removal of existing overheadservice lateral and utility pole that feeds the existing building. Otter Tail Power Company willremove pole and service lateral, electrical contractor shall include this cost in electrical bid.Contact Otter Tail Power Company for costs associated with removal of these items.
