Hi Yr 12 Chemists
This is your 'twiducate page' where you will be able to access all the homeworks/resources. If you have any questions regarding the work or anything you don't understand, you can post a comment for me on here and I'll get back to you as soon as possible - no having to wait until next lesson.
Keep checking your 'twiducate page' as I'm constantly updating. Please show this to your parents/guardians and get them involved in your learning.
I equate giving you some facts to giving you a bowl of rice which will feed you for one meal. I equate educating you in 'how to learn' to showing you how to grow rice which will feed you for life. My aim is to make you 'independent learners'.
You may have heard the expression 'look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves'. An equally true expression is'look after the learning (ie. get it right) and the exam results will take care of themselves'.
Check out the video Microsoft CEO Summit Innovation in Education - this is what I'm aiming for. Please show it to your parents/guardians/teachers. Also check out this video by a student in the US. It is so true here too.

Check out my Prezi on Maximising Students' Learning - a MUST read for ALL.
Happy learning and have a wonderful day.
Mr Baker
I've tried to give you as many video resources as possible. To maximise your learning you should use these learning links/resources to read up/view up on a class lesson before it happens. If you do this you will learn much more in the hour's class lesson. You should then come to the class lesson with your questions so my time in
class is spent as it should be: answering your questions and explaining what you do not understand - not simply giving you information that you can access yourselves.
In addition to the links/resources below, check out Knockhardy's excellent powerpoints on most topics by clicking here.
