Welcome to our first season of 2012, a year that
promises a great deal, particularly with the Olympics
on their way to Dorset. But before then we’ve got an
excellent programme for you, including an exciting new
initiative.
We are working in partnership with the Curzon
Cinema group as part of it’s new digital network,
bringing you weekly screenings of the latest releases
from the Curzon programme. We have upgraded our
equipment to make the arts Centre a great place to
watch movies – why not come and experience it for
yourself.
Finally, as part of our constant efforts to improve our
service, we’re launching a new box office system to
make buying tickets for all our activities quicker and
more efficient. i hope it enhances your experience of
Bridport arts Centre.

The Phoenix and the Carpet
Join four children on their adventures as they are whisked around the
world on their new magical carpet, with the help of a mysterious and
fiery phoenix!
This magical production, brought to you by the company behind the
enourmously popular Wolves of Willoughby Chase, features beautiful
live music, incredible puppets and a wonderful winter atmosphere.

Twelfth NightSt Gabriel’s Strolling players present an evening of prose, poetry and
music written over the centuries by authors familiar and unfamiliar
celebrating the season of Christmas. From the first snows of December
until the end of the Twelve Days of traditional celebration.

Fiona RobinsonParallel lines of enquiry Fiona robinson’s drawings are known for their subtlety. They reveal themselves through repeated looking just
as her process itself slowly unfolds through time.
Work arising from her 2010 Fellowship at the Ballinglen arts Foundation, ireland is exhibited alongside a short
story by alain robbe-Grillet. Exploiting parallels between the repetition in her work and that of robbe-Grillet,
she draws attention, in a wider context, to the connections between processes across different art forms.
