IMPORTANT INFORMATIONPlease read through the installation guide carefully before you begin with the installation!
Please make sure that your car was not driven before installation or that the engine was on, since it can get very hot and you may suffer burns.
Open the bonnet, remove the ignition key and disconnect the battery. Now wait at least for 10 minutes to make sure that no more residual current is flowing. Select a position for the PowerBox in the engine compartment, ensuring that it is placed as far away from heat sources (engine, manifold) as possible. Please also make sure that the cable connections are properly laid (use the cable ties supplied).
The PowerBox is supplied with software suitable for your vehicle. The basic setting consists of the relationship we recommend between torque boost, additional performance, potential fuel saving and wear.
Power Switch – set performance boostThe PowerBox has an individual setting option for the performance boost. In this way, the PowerBox facilitates both customers’ wish for additional performance and the series tolerance of the vehicles. You can find more information under “Set performance boost individually.”

But you can improve this in a few steps using the rotary switch. We would also be happy to assist you by telephone. For this purpose, please contact our technology department.
My board computer indicates an error / my vehicle is in the emergency programme?Due to manufacturer-related series tolerances, performance implementation may be too high. However, you can correct this very easily in a few steps using the rotary switch. You can find an illustration of the recommended fine tune setting for correc-ting these types of errors in the installation guide.
How do I disconnect the plug?Generally, the plug must be unlocked. If there is no safety on your plug, please contact our technical service. You may accidently be trying to install with the wrong plug.
